He bought it 3 years ago and also upgraded the gpu. He could try contacting support but I don’t think they would do much since he upgraded the components

He has a 240hz monitor and plays comp. he plays 1920x 1080.i cant find the mobo and psu all i know is, the mother board and psu are the default ones which come with the msi night blade. Im assuming its dual channel cause he didnt touch the ram since he got the pc and msi would probaly make sure its dual channel before selling. His temps are great gpu running 40 c while gaming, his cpu is good to i dont know the exact temps but i will ask him later. No big programs in the background either.

Ok I’ll tell him to do this. Is there anything I should look for specifically? And how do I know if it’s ramping up its clock speed correctly/ what do I look for. Same for CPU what do I look for. Sorry I don’t understand how clock speeds work to well.

My friend has an upgraded msi night blade. The specs are a i7-7 700k only 8gbs of 2400mhz ram and a rtx 2070. His games are all on his ssd and I’ve tried my very best to help him. He should be getting ALOT Better fps.In gams like fortnite he has 80- 100fps on all low with everything up to date like drivers windows etc. He’s considereding buying a whole new pc cause of this issue. I came to this forum to hopefully come in contact with someone good at computers so they can help my friend out. My discord is noltez#3210 if someone wants to dm me. Thanks.
