  1. Hi, I am wondering if it’s worth upgrading/possible for my pc. I mainly play games on my PlayStation but from time to time I play some pc games (in 1080p and 144hz if possible). I use my pc for video editing also! Is it possible to upgrade the graphics card, and what card would you recommend (thinking about bottlenecking). And do you recommend any cpu? (Basically I’m looking if there are any upgrades available to let me improve graphics/FPS in games). Is getting a second gtx 970 and doing sli an option? (Even though I probably have to upgrade PSU then). Or should I wait a year or two and get a completely new pc when the new graphics cards hopefully are cheaper? My current build is: (PSU) Cooler Master B500 (CPU) Intel core i5-4690 (Motherboard) Msi B85-G43 Gaming (Ram) HyperX Savage Ddr3 1600Mhz 24GB Ssd
  2. Hi! I was wondering if my motherboard, the b85-g43 gaming will work with the elgato 4K 60 pro mk2? To my understanding it will work, but I’m not a pc expert and not 100% sure. Here is the link to the motherboard https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B85-G43-GAMING/Specification And here is the link to the elgato specifications: https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059182072-All-about-PCIe-PCI-Express-
  3. So I have enabled cuda gpu acceleration in both programs, but when I render something I see on the task manager that ~90% of the cpu is being used, 95% ram and only <5% of my gpu. So I’m wondering why it isn’t using my gpu more than 5% ? My pc: Corsair graphite 230T Cooler Master B500 Ver.2 Intel LGA1150 Core i5-4690 MSI LGA1150 B85-G43 Gaming HyperX Savage DDR3 1600MHz 8GB (2x4) Gainward GeForce Gtx970 4gb GDDR5 PCI-E HyperX Savage SSD 240GB 7mm win 10
  4. Thanks!, So i found out that my ram is this one: Kingston khx1600c9d3/4gx (2x4gb), will this work together with Kingston HX316C9SRK2/8 in a setup of 2x4gb khx1600c9d3/4gx + 2x8gb HX316C9SRK2/8 ?
  5. I currently have 8gb (2x4) of ram and since I do a lot of video editing I wanted to upgrade to at least 16gb of ram. I’m wondering if it’s possible to buy 2x8gb and add them up with the already existing 2x4, so getting a total of 24gb. Is this possible? I was going to buy the exact same type of ram. Or is it worth upgrading motherboard and get ddr4 ram with 3200Mhz? And will my other components work with a newer motherboard. My pc: Corsair graphite 230T Cooler Master B500 Ver.2 Intel LGA1150 Core i5-4690 MSI LGA1150 B85-G43 Gaming HyperX Savage DDR3 1600MHz 8GB (2x4) Gainward GeForce Gtx970 4gb GDDR5 PCI-E HyperX Savage SSD 240GB 7mm win 10
