  1. Has anyone had any joy fixing Bluetooth mouse lag/sleep issues in Windows 10, specifically on the Dell XPS 13 9310? I bought the laptop last week and it's a great device so far... apart from one persistent and irritating issue. When using a Bluetooth mouse (Logitech MX Anywhere 2) the pointer 'sticks' and lags for a noticeable amount of time almost every time the mouse is left idle for more than a couple of seconds then moved again. I've seen various suggestions that this could be WiFi & Bluetooth conflicting, or disallowing the system to let the mouse connection sleep (Although Dell seem to have helpfully removed the Power Management tab from the mouse device manager window. ) It's still 'usable' as it is but it just doesn't feel premium and makes it so I have to use the Logitech wireless dongle thing to get accurate performance for things like high speed chess games (the main use-case I have that demands zero lag pointer). EDIT: Should have said... from Googling, this seems like a fairly common issue on low power devices like laptops and tablets that are trying to be too clever for their own good with energy saving tricks.
  2. Awesome, thanks! So cloud access via Ubiquti is essentially just a more 'convenient' option to a personal VPN and they're not actually holding anything on their servers?
  3. I like the look of the UniFi camera system Linus set up but have a question I can't seem to find a clear answer to... Can you use UniFi cameras and and NVR completely 'offline' - As in, with no connection to Ubiquti at all so that video is recorded and stored on your own network only? Plus, if so, would it still be possible to view the cameras remotely using your own VPN rather than the Ubiquti system? Sorry if I've missed a previous thread or a simple Google should have answered this...
  4. Hey, just to let you know the VM route eventually did work for me after I found this tip for getting USB devices to pass through the VirtualBox VM correctly. https://superuser.com/questions/1136607/virtualbox-usb-capture-issue-windows-7-host-guest Hope it helps you.
  5. Ugh. Found my way here after the VM method turned up a dead end for me, too. Did you ever find a way? I can't get the VM to see the controller because it says it's busy with a previous request. Can't believe MS have allowed this to happen! Their damn updater is bricking loads of controllers and has been doing it for years!
