  1. I have replaced the thermal paste but no difference. I dont think the heatsink is warming up.
  2. Okay thanks for the replies i will do just that, I dont know what you mean by if the cooler itself gets hot at all. The fans seem to be cooling correctly

Recently my gpu started to get really hot, the fan speed is locked at 100% and i noticed that even if the gpu load is at 1% - 5% the temperatures are around 95 degrees specs: AMD FX-8350 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 ASUS. M5A97 R2.0 Radeon R9 280x 3072MB some notes: -both fans on the cooler are working -the card has recently been cleaned although the termal paste has not been replaced -every other component is working as it should -the drivers for the card are up to date My question is, is the gpu faulty and should just be replaced or is it just that i should replace the thermal paste and that would make all the difference ?
