  1. Moved to i73930k and new motherboard and issue went away. thanks, nobody
  2. As the title says, my Sapphire R9 280 is getting more fps than my Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 8G. For example if I play Battlefield 5 at minimum settings I get around 80 fps with the 280, but barely 20 on the other card. I tried reinstalling windows, drivers (used DDU), and the game. Each of them are not overclocked in AMD's tuning section of driver software, or at all for that matter. Temps are sub 70 on the 280 and sub 80 on the 580 so it is not thermal throttling. I'm starting to think the problem is with hardware and not software, which surprises me as the card is only a few years old. Any thoughts? i5 6600k (no-oc) B150M-PLUS D3 Corsair CX750M Gskill 16gb DDR3@1.35v Windows 10 Pro 64bit Samsung 860 EVO
  3. About 50% of the time when trying to record my game with Relive, I get this weird pixelation issue where they are almost like a checkerboard. Also for the notification for "Started Recording" and "Saved Recording (date)" have the same effect. I have tried restarting the computer to see if it fixes the issue, as well as update drivers, all with no success. Any ideas? 2019.12.22-15.17.mp4 Windows 10 64bit version 1903 i5 6600k AMD RX 580 EVGA 850GQ 16Gb Corsair LPX Adrenalin Drivers : 19.20
  4. That was it! Thank you so much, it was driving me nuts not being able to do anything while playing back video.
  5. This is my first ever forum post... Playing recorded gameplay video will max out the cpu, I don't know if this is normal or what for the 6600k. The video is 2560x1440, bitrate: 39Mbps and 60 fps. If I play it from an SSD, same problem.
