  1. The mobo seems to be nice indeed! I don't know for the ram though. The Team T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4-3000 CL16 CAS latency is 16 and single while the Corsair's is CL15 and dual. Regards,
  2. Hiya! I don't really know if the MX500 1TB is a good choice. The read and write speed is significantly different. The MB520 RGB is actually a need. And I've seen some reviews (in dutch) saying the airflow wasn't really great.
  3. Good day everyone! I'm currently helping a friend with getting a new selfbuilt PC for the first time and I needed feedback from you? I'm currently shopping for PC parts. So I currently have this: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor - €130 euros Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard - €150 + ASUS PCE-AC51 AC750 Wi-FI card - €34 = €160 RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 - €87 Storage: Kingston A2000 1TB - €138 GPU: GPU: PNY GTX 1660 Super 6GB - €248 Case: Cooler Master MasterBox MB520 RGB Midi Tower - €85 PSU: PSU Seasonic Focus GX-550 - €91 Monitor: AOC AOC G2460VQ6 - €150 Total price: ~€1089 The prices are either from amazon.fr or from another website. I got the prices from the friend. He is french if that is relevant to say for the prices. So the budget actually is €800-900 euros but yeah due to this corona period, the prices are high so I might wait a little and save more as well. So here a few things I think that could be improved: - RAM The RAM I'm getting has 3000 Mhz as ram speed, but I see that the mobo only supports 2400 MHz, 2133 MHz, 2667 MHz, 2933 MHz, 3200 MHz(O.C.). I don't know if it would go down to 2933 Mhz when going to the profiler. I think I should get another ram sticks? - WI-FI Card I don't know if there are better and cheaper WI-FI cards out there, but this came with a combo of the motherboard. What do you think of this build? Any advice is welcome! Regards, iiSnewoNL
  4. I just saw a video about aRGB then suddenly he talked about different pins and headers. From what I understand is that the normal RGB Leds use a 12V header and the aRGB apparently a 5V header. I'm still new to this RGB business. Now is my question: does this mean that the Asus TUF B450-PRO GAMING motherboard isn't compatible with the Sharkoon TG4 case? Thanks in advance.
  5. Okay guys, thank you very much for the advices!
  6. So I guess everything is fine with this build?
  7. Just a few things to mention: - I was much of a Nvidia fan though, but hm mkay. - I don't really like the case though. Also I saw that it only has 2 front fans pre-installed? - Is 400 watt already more than enough? ? - It's a bit over the budget though. Last but not least: And is my build also fine? I'm just being curious here
  8. 16 GB is enough for me. I will add more storage later. It's just that I don't have money yet for more or it has the same price as the current one. Otherwise, I should shift some things in the components? I currently don't have a monitor as I use a laptop now. I'm planning to buy the AOC G2460VQ6 - Gaming Monitor (75 Hz) - 109 euros.
  9. Good day everyone! I'm new here and I created my account to get some advice on my new PC build! I'm currently shopping for PC parts. So I currently have this: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor - €145 euros Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard - €70,00 euros RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory - €85,05 euros Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive - €60,95 euros GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB VENTUS XS OC Video Card - €295,00 euros Case: Cooler Master MasterBox MB520 RGB Midi Tower - €65,00 euros PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 Full Modular PSU - €73,05 euros OS: Windows 10 64-bit - Free (I'm getting it from a friend) (https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/KWD9hy) Total costs are around €800 euros (don't mind the price provided in the link). My budget is €800-850 euros (it may be higher if needed). - Storage I'm buying extra storage when I have the money for it. So, for now, 250GB SSD. - PSU I think that 550 watt is more than enough but someone said that I should get 650 watt to be safe. Still considering getting lower though. - Case The case comes with 3 RGB front fans and 1 non-RGB rear fan. I saw a post saying that the DS3H only has 2 fan slots, so I think this case wouldn't be the right option? What do you think of this build? This is my first PC build, any advice is welcome! Regards, iiSnewoNL
  10. So a 2X8 GB 3000 Mhz (example: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3000MHz-Desktop-Memory/dp/B019HVSNA6?th=1) is compatible with the DS3H?
