  1. So the loop goes : CPU->Pump-->240passive radiator->GPU->120+fan-->CPU I have done some tests . CPU: i57600k oc@45ghz ~1.270v offset -2 85c max around 77c with gpuz A bit hot , but I suspect the bubbles to have a role in this . GPU: Insane 60c :3 more tests to come .
  2. Hello all, So I somehow effed up the SSD PSU cable and fried it. So I ran to the store got a new one and am installing windows atm. It's the longest build I have ever done
  3. It is what I am using. I have the tx120+ tx240 I'm using Slim tophat on bottom but you still need to shave off 2-3mm of the spine to make the rad fit. The tx240 is on top as passive. I finished the build after 7 hours. Will do some tests as soon as I can.
  4. The cables took me ages and my fingers are crossed, maybe I fdhusd up the cables and will burn my house down. Today I discovered this...
  5. Big day today ! Received the last box of goodies ! As I thought the slim rad+fan won't fit above the CPU due to the fittings being humongous. Maybe a brand slimmer might fit ? Any suggestions? ( Anyone here ?! ) I'm a bit disappointed there was no guide for the CPU waterblock I had to watch 2 different videos cause things weren't aligned and I thought it wasn't normal. Tonight I'll try to finish the cables now that I have the correct female pins. And get the loop set-up and ready.
  6. I added a bottom fan near the tx120. I now had to shave off some plastic from the water pump. Do you guys think the pump vibration would be a issue against the waterblock? They is 0 space between them and it even holds up my GPU nice and straight. There is a slight outward bow .. Barely visible
  7. I should receive my last order on Monday. Meanwhile here are some pics of me fiddling around with the case. There where a few issues. The 240 rad had clearence problems with the PSU extension cord. The pump had same issue with PSU 24 pin cable . I don't have pics but it will be posted later on. I'll have to wait till Monday too see if the CPU block + fittings would fit .
  8. Sleeving on the way This is a practice run cable on the extra GPU 6+2 pcie. I came into some issues . The female ATX pins I bought are too big they are for molex cables .( Can see on last pic. So I will need to buy new ones. I will redo this cable a second time once the pins arrive , I will shorten it buy 5 cm.
  9. Thanks for the tip. But I will simply buy a ddc Laing pump . I saw a build on reddit that used one, it will be my test pump and extra for future builds .
  10. Hello to the shy viewers. I received my GPU waterblock in the mail today. We'll packed and shipped from China the v.2 version of the Gigabyte gtx1070 g1 won't allow me to use any other waterblock on the market. It looks well made , I sadly can't try it out yet. Cable sleeving pics to come soon .
  11. Hi everyone , I have received my cables + radiators. This will be a long build due to the pump out of stock everywhere in EU. I have tried a quick test yesterday with the 120 rad on the bottom with the slim tophat. There will be some modding to do with the frame. I'll have to shave off 3-4mm to fit the rad. I'll do it through the whole bottom so I can try out the 240 radiator in bottom mount 1side passive cooled just so we will have temps to show off. ( Cooling cpu+ GPU) Meanwhile I'll sleeve the cables till the pump arrives .
  12. I have to find a solution for the pump. The DC LT 2600 isn't in stock till OctobER ... Anyone have any suggestions on another pump+ res I could use in my louqe ?
  13. Cable sleeves have been ordered , I went with what was on sale ( like my friends say .. I'm cheap ) . Since the case is closed with no see throught side panels I wouldn't care for the sleeve colours. -6.6m of violet paracord 4mm -6.6m of blue paracord 4mm -60 female molex connectors - I also bought EK cryofuel transparent to add to distilled water for the loop - Lastly the TX240 crossflow rad wasn't delivered to the warehouse so I switched to the non crossflow version TX240 . the radiators should be shipped soon.
  14. I have been doing some research and thought after seeing optimum tech cable sleeving on the cheap video,That I will try it out. I'll sleeve my cables and shorten them for ~40€ +Female ATX pins molex thingy. XD ( to replace the ones I'll cut off ) +Cable combs +Black sleeving +Brown sleeving to match noctua fans. My case will be closed so nothing fancy but it will certainly improve airflow and personal satisfaction. I'll order the parts today. •The GPU has now been shipped from China ~20 days to go.... •Radiators are coming in the next week. And the other stuff is not coming till another 2 weeks ( delivery delayed cause pump out of stock ) the sleeving will be a good thing to occupy me whilst I wait . Peace .
  15. The parts haven't arrived yet , so .. we ( mostly myself ) must be patient ..
  16. I'm in a push configuration for the fans so air is pulled in the case from the side grills and pushed out. that is how I am able to be passive on the cpu EDIT: - Yes, those are wine bottle corks - Yes, I need to do some dusting
  17. Hey all ! I have been waiting to watercool my PC for a while now and I finally bought the parts to do the transition. My current setup is: CPU: i5 7600k @4.4ghz passive cooled CPU cooler: noctua l12s (hand bent to fit) GPU : gigabyte GTX 1070 g1 gaming v.2 PSU : SF 600 Ram: 16gb something I got a m.2 and a SSD 2 Slim noctua fans on small tophat. The parts I bought : -radiator: tx240 crossflow rad (20.5mm thick)+xspc tx120 dual pass rad -Pump: DC LT 2600 ( Saw on optimum tech review )out of stock every where -Reservoir: DC-LT 40 -CPU WB: EK-Velocity Intel - Copper + acrylic CPU water block -GPU wb:Bykski Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1/1070 G1/1070 Ti Full Coverage GPU Water Block - Clear (N-GV1070G1V2-X) I have a version 2 graphics card and it's the only block I found for it, hopefully it's a good brand. -alphacool fittings . I mostly want to watercool just the GPU. But got carried away when I bought the parts . the plan is to cut the top grill to fit the crossflow rad without adding a top hat. I didn't want to add hight to the PC and spend 50€ just on a medium tophat. While I wait for the parts i'm fooling around with my cpu cooling it passively @4.4ghz with the l12s Wich Made me realize I prob won't need the extra 120 rad I bought, unless I oc it back to 4.7 GHz In case I change my mind the 120 rad will be mounted on bottom with medium top hat Cpu->120rad->GPU->pump->240 rad->CPU I'll post pics as soon as I can Toodles !
  18. I forgot to specify 1070 ti from gigabyte. I'll wait the response from gigabyte and ekwb . That Chinese bykski has very little review and I prefer not buying it unless I don't find anything else.
  19. Email has been sent, I'll prob try the bykski if I don't find anything else. but I've never heard of them and not sure of the quality.
  20. So I read the compatibility list and it's compatible with 1070ti, I would assume that I could use any 1070 ti waterblock (from other brands ) for my 1070 g1 rev 2?
  21. Thank you for your reply but as you read , I'm in the watercooling topic and I'm talking about watercooling my GPU. I'll give it a look.
  22. Whatever,I play in 1080p the same game all the Time I'm gonna watercool my whole setup. A 130€ GPU block isn't expensive, I don't need a 2080 rtx that will in 2 years be a " aging mid range GPU "
  23. Not expensive to watercool a card. Plus the only thing I'll have to change later is the waterblock of GPU Wich you would need to change anyways when you buy a new card. Gtx1070 is still a good card for the next 5 years .
  24. Hey 'all I've been scrolling around internet to water cool my louqe ghost s1 And I have a gigabyte gtx 1070 g1 gaming rev 2.0 I saw that ekwb don't make full waterblock for it Cause apparently revision 1and 2 are different. I then read on some french forum that the guy sent a email to ek and they said they aren't compatible. Anyone know what waterblock I should look into ?
