  1. I have a preset in NZXT cam. I dont know what the spin up spin down time is
  2. i just upgraded from a ryzen 5 2600 to this cpu and man is it SO ANNOYING that the fan speed keeps going up and down. I will try this custom power plan. Or i might just get an AIO liquid cooler. The constant up and down temps have me concerned tho... will that affect the life or performance of the cpu?
  3. Ok thanks but im not doing that and i cant afford to get more things. I hooked my old Pioneer back up and everything is working great like it used to. It still goes mute on its own but switching inputs brings it right back. Doesnt seem to do it as much. I am going to try dusting it out, reset factory settings, and make sure there is no exposed speaker wires. Dont know what to do with this Yamaha i wasted $100 on now tho...
  4. its just speaker wire on the back of the sub. I can take a pic later still if you want
  5. something else weird. On my Roku there is audio for the Netflix previews (when you are browsing in the app and the previews auto play) but once you actually start the movie there is no audio at all..... wtf!
  6. So the center channel started working on its on. Sub still isnt working. I got a new adapter that is meant for speaker wire (apparently that one in my original post wasnt). Its black/red with spring clips and a RCA plug. Settings seem right to me. BTW my receiver is a Yamaha RX V367
  7. Had a used Pioneer receiver that worked well for few years and then recently the audio starting going mute randomly. Only way to fix it was to change inputs or reboot. Bought a used Yamaha that was a bit newer and hooked up the speaker wire (after converting the FR and FL channels to banana plugs and converted the sub to a male plug). The FL FR RR RL channels all work but for some reason the center channel and the sub do not. Now in the settings the sub was turned off so i changed that but still no sound. the center hookup and regular speaker wire to the spring clips and no sound either. Any advice on how to get this working? Here is a pic of the sub converter i bought.
  8. Having the same issue with one im working on. I replaced the mobo but its still doing it! The charger they provided me is 65w but they said it always worked fine before.
  9. so i forgot to test it with the usb and the fan plugged in and guess what.... it rebooted. And to make sure i did it again and it happened again. I replaced the mobo for nothing. Ill be returning it. Ill try a different usb plug. This was an old usb cord i gave her recently too after the one she was using started to rip. Ill try another 1 or 2 plugs and see if its just that one.
  10. Ive been letting it go to sleep over and over for hours now today and now its not doing it. Hmmmmm
  11. Its not. And like i said it does the same thing on a new board. Should i try a new ssd?
  12. no. Its a new battery. I replaced it last year. Its restarting when it sleeps.
  13. actually yes... its my fiances and she usually has a small hand fan plugged into it. But i think it did it without it... ill test further. How could that be tho? Its just a mini usb cord for power to the fan
  14. I have a Macbook pro 15 inch late 2013 been using it with no problems for years, but lately it started rebooting after it goes into sleep mode. I followed a guide and tried resetting SMC/PRAM, turning off "put hard disk to sleep", re-seating the battery, reinstalling MacOS, and turning off hibernate mode with the terminal. It was still doing it after all that so i finally decided to replace the logic board. It came in today and i installed it and it seemed fine for an hour or two then it just restarted again after it went to sleep ..... I am not sure what to do next. The only other thing i can think of is the storage drive or an issue with Catalina possibly... Anyone else know about this issue and what to try next? edit: i didnt do all those at once i tried each thing individually to see exactly what might be the cause of the problem
  15. Get yourself a used ps4. Some amazing exclusives. Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us, Uncharted.... all worth it!
