  1. Alright, I understand. I just don't have much experience with these kinds of CPUs, I am only using this one because a friend gave it to me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have built a system with a TR Processor. Thank you very much for your time, I highly appreciate it!
  2. Well yes, I would probably never really hit the limit with stock settings but it seems to me that with this AIO I have, the temperatures should be much lower. Do you think maybe I should try with another AIO and see if it will get any better results? I am kind of new to all of this and I am not really sure how I can troubleshoot this kind of issue.
  3. Basically, the same temperature as Tdie on HWinfo - 40C at the moment.
  4. I have Hwinfo, it has 2 temperatures: Tctl and Tdie. Tctl is currently 67C and Tdie is 40C. As far as I know Tctl is the actual temperature and Tdie is the temperature of the die. For a stock processor with AIO these temperature seem too high to me. They should be at least 20 degrees lower in my opinion without any load and just doing normal internet browsing and work.
  5. Are you sure? I am using Ryzen Master and it shows the maximum CPU temp is 68C, currently 41. And this is just me using the internet and not running any CPU intensive software. It seems a lot to me. I read a lot about this CPU on the internet and I am sure the maximum temperature is 68. Ryzen Master is supposed to show the temperature correctly so it's 40/68. It's still very high.
  6. I got it as a present from a friend so I was like I might as well use it instead of buying a CPU.
  7. To get the actual temperature you need to add +27C. So 68 is in fact 95C(which is the maximum temperature of this CPU). So yes the temperatures are high. It doesn't matter if a you run a game or do work on it. These temperatures are high. 40+27=67C idle which is a lot.
  8. A couple of weeks ago I bought completely new parts for a PC build. I must state that this is the first build I did by myself. One of the first things I noticed is that my 2990wx CPU has very high temperature - about 37-40C idle and 55ish when running a game. While doing an aida64 stress test the temperature goes even higher to 60+. Keep in mind that the maximum temperature of this CPU is 68C. I haven't done any overclocking. I made sure I have the latest version of BIOS. I tried changing the thermal paste but it seems like there is almost no difference at all. I am using a Cooler Master masterliquid ml360r rgb AIO which is specifically made for this CPU. The radiator of the AIO is positioned at the top of the case. All the fans are running of course and water can be heard running from the tubes so the AIO is definitely working. I have the latest drivers for everything. Could it be that my AIO is damaged in some way and not working properly? The only other thing that I can think of is the IHS not making good contact with the AIO, but honestly I screwed it well enough so really I don't think this is the issue. Thank you very much in advance for the help.
