  1. OK I'll try that anyway thanks for your help I really appreciate it
  2. All is fixed it wasn't the SSD it was the ram I had the xmp profile turned on to 2400mgz and it caused the bsod. Is there any way to get the advertised preformence without xmp?
  3. I left the test on for the night and it came out with no errors. so that means the ram is fine?
  4. Could it have been a corrupted Windows clone?
  5. Right thanks for the help I'll update you tomorrow but hopefully its only the SSD and not the ram. One more quick question do you have any idea why would the SSD be broken its brand new could it have been made with an error?
  6. And do you know what are the key binds for it I can't see the bottom of the screen.
  7. Is this how the ram test should look? And do you know how to stop it the resolution is bigger then my screen so I can't see the key binds
  8. OK since I have my windows license on that drive I'll just fresh install onto another. Sorry if I seemed rude in the conversation above I wasn't trying to question your expertise. Could you help me with one more thing I just want to check if it might be a ram issue which may be possible?
  9. In case the drive was bad could I do a fresh install of Windows from that drive?
  10. Sure ill try the method you specified thanks
  11. Can I clone the contents of the drive to another before this process?
  12. I recently got a crucial bx 500 240gb ssd and did a fresh install on it but ever since I keep getting bsod all the time I looked nearly everywhere but the closest thing I found was this post on windows forums https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/bsod-issues-after-installing-ssd/542b7fc3-67b2-4188-90a8-2a06f6b8973a
