    cooling advise

I actually have all the fans set at 1300 fixed. So its normal to have crazy temp?

    cooling advise

Built a PC 6 months ago, housing an AMD 3700x and 2080 super housed in a lian li pc-011 with a corsair h150i (exhaust setup positioned top) as cooling. It also has 6x fan (Corsair ML120s) as intake on both bottom and side. Idle temps are all over the place with 3700x, and I can seem to get a decent fan curve setup. Is it normal for the 3700x's idle temp to be all over the place. I am idling 50-65 most of the time. My PC continues to reach temps of above >70 despite the setup, surely I would get better right? Does anybody have some advise in optimising my setup at present all intake fans are static at 1300RPM, and AIO at Balance settings. Really want to get a fine balance with decent cooling, and at the same time not listening next to an aircraft. Many Thanks
  3. Fellas! It lives! Tried QFLASH PLUS, and it booted up. Now I wonder what exactly happened to cause this to happen. Bugged bios
  4. Yeah, exactly my thought. At least I don't have to buy an entirely new system, and I could just RMA and stuff. Just such a hassle though
  5. Going to RMA the ram, kinda disencouraged with going back to Corsair. Since it's under 30 days I can get a refund. Gonna get something else instead. Hopefully I made the right call, and hopefully it really is ram that is busted
  6. Nothing still..now I'm going crazy. Don't know if it's mobo or ram. Don't know if I should rma both..or.maybe CPU. I'm going crazy
  7. I'll give reseating the CPU a try. Just unusual it worked flawlessly for a week then all of a sudden it's like this
  8. Is it normal that two sticks are both busted? Or do you think it is likely a mobo issue?
  9. Supposedly the ram that I have is not compatible with Ryzen but it is not Ryzen rated. Is this a likely problem??
  10. I'm on a fan curve, so usually fans to full blast upon power, then it would quiet down once it posts. However its constantly on full blast, meaning its powering on but nothing to control it.
  11. Can't see anything that suggest burns. Any other tests that I could do to specifically identify the culprit part?
  12. Everything spins, including lights but nothing on the monitor. Dram led is lit up. Is my RAM busted??
  13. Recently built a PC. Managed to get it working fora good week. All of a sudden this evening, it is not posting at all. I have tried clearing CMOS but to no avail. Try resitting RAM 1/2 sticks but nothing. Don't really know what else to do. My specs are as follows:CPU: Ryzen 3700xMotherboard: gigabyte x570 aorus proRam:Corsair vengeance 3600mhz CMK16GX4M2D3600C18PSU: evga G2 750wGPU: Nvidia 2080 super
  14. Would you recommend doing a fan curve setup or simply run them at a certain RPM?? Edit: Got the hub and running everything via single fan speed. Resitted the cooler, now I'm getting roughly 78-83 with stability test on aida64. Is this a more reasonable temp for the h150i pro? another edit: I think I've figured it out, if I'm doing benchmark for CPU only it maxes around 63c. When I do the full stability test it goes all the way to 80c
  15. Which header should I be connecting the hub to? At present, all my fans have populated all fan headers.
