  1. Did that on monday, no reply yet, but looking forward to it, thanks
  2. Hi all, Watching all the LTT channels for the past 5 years now, loving the content. So I purchased the CPU Pillow 50x50cm paid 69,99 dollar for it plus 19,99 dollar shipping and 18,90 dollar taxes. I do have to say the pillow is really nice, soft and looks very stylish in my living room! Took a month to get to the Netherlands, but when it got at the postal service they send me another invoice for taxes. They from the postoffice kept telling me i paid for US taxes, and not theirs which is 21,55 euro (Inklaringskosten). So i looked at the track & trace and saw it went from Vancouver to Los Angeles and then to the Netherlands. As far as I know and can find online you only have to pay taxes from origin to destination and not when a package is transfered between planes in another country. So in total i now paid 135,86 dollar to get it delivered which is about double the original price. The post office is basing their decision on https://www.lttstore.com/pages/customs-duty-fees Can anyone explain if this is even legal, or how i can prove that i paid for the correct taxes. If it's normal how do i get US taxes back because i don't think I need to pay these Thanks for the help, looking forward to replies
  3. Thanks for the reply. Yes it does have a display port in, but unfortunately that port is already occupied on my laptop, I do a TB3 dock connected that has an additional Displayport so that runs through the CPU but i rather not have a 3th monitor connected since I've no place for it in my setup right now. You might be wondering, but what about just plugging it in using a display port to HDMI dongle. Well i tried this in the past, but it was pretty unpracticle because when i did that windows did detect it as a monitor and occasionally something would launch on the screen that was actually the AV receiver. The Av receiver is detected as a monitor with no way of turning that off. This is my current setup, AV receiver is behind the chair
  4. Thanks for the reply Well yes, but this is not exactly what i want to achieve i think. Because what i'm trying to achieve here is to take a HDMI 2.0 signal and split it to one output with HDMI 2.0, and the other to HDMI 1.4. Monitor: aoc-u2777pqu-zwart The switch is just a regular HDMI 2.0 switch
  5. Hi, I'm looking for a solution for a problem i'm facing. At this moment i'm using an AV receiver(click here to see the AV) that is a bit old and only supports HDMI 1.4. I want to have that Av hooked up to my Laptop but problem is that i have a 4K 60 FPS monitor that uses the only available HDMI port. I want to have the HDMI audio go through or to the AV receiver because only then can i make use of the 5.1 audio from it. At the moment i'm using an spdif cable but that only supports dual speakers PCM, which kinda sucks when I got a 5.1 speaker setup. So i thought of something like this. But i cannot find any information about if i can downscale a HDMI 2.0 signal to HDMI 1.4, or if i can have a HDMI signal with only audio or something. Or lastly if there is a splitter that can output in multiple different formats at the same time. If there anyone that knows, or has experience with something like this please let me know. Thank you all!
  6. Yes, this is correct. Oh really, I did not know there was a difference in SPDIF cables, I just bought this one at aliexpress https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/32795633587.html?spm=a2g0z.search0302.3.13.562a765eudlxq9&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_0_453_454_10618_536_317_537_319_10059_10696_10084_10083_10304_10821_10843_10887_10307_321_322_10065_10068_10301_10103_10884_10820,searchweb201603_0,ppcSwitch_0&algo_pvid=73d7e2ea-6f80-4cbd-98dd-18dd8c1d6ec4&algo_expid=73d7e2ea-6f80-4cbd-98dd-18dd8c1d6ec4-1 So you say that I should try swap the cable right?
  7. Tried using Netflix, Apex legends(for spatial audio), and downloaded some DTS demo's https://thedigitaltheater.com/dts-trailers/
  8. Hi, I've got a weird problem with my audio extractor, In windows, I can see that I can configure the device to 5.1 as expected, however, it'll only output at 2.1. The setup: HDMI 2.0 goes to the audio extractor and then to the display, from the audio extractor using a spdif cable to an Onkyo TX-414(amp is using pcm 2.0 @96khz, audio mode while testing set to pure audio which means no additional processing) The weird thing about it all is that Nvidia detects it as an L R jack which would suggest it only supports 2.1. Does anyone have an idea how i might get this working?
