Hello! Which is the most minimal Pi model for watching 1080p/4k movies through Plex using external HDD as storage? I've seen a couple videos on Youtube that people are using different models for same task (media server and storage).

Hello! I am trying to find good budget PSU for now and for the future upgrades. Current system: i5 4440 GTX750Ti 2 sticks of DDR4 Case FAN SSD and HDD I've found CM MasterWatt, Corsair VS, Fortron Hexa, Fortron Hydro, Thermaltake Smart. Is there any good power supply around 50 bucks?

Hello! A couple weeks ago I had a socket 1155 computer with i5 and an old 300W PSU. I decided to replace it with another working 400W noname passive Xilence PSU, because of the new videocard I installed (PSU calc showed me 320W max for my system). However, everything was okay with 300W during first try. At second run (with new PSU), I forgot to put 4pin in it's place. Then I saw that all fans are running, except there is no display signal. And that was it. At diagnostics they said me, that MAYBE due to wrong voltages, my motherboard ended along with the CPU. Can PSU can kill motherboard and CPU at same time or problem was about forgotten 4pin?

ASrock h77 pro4-m and GTX750 Ti.

Just installed new low profile graphics card in new case, but now there is no signal at all on monitor from both - integrated and installed GPU. However, chipset heatsink is almost fell off. How does it affect this? All fans from case, CPU and PSU ar spinning, but there is no signal.

Little update about this. Maybe it is worth to check 1155 or 2011 or Ryzen deals instead of 1156? Is there any chance to build something better with ar without a GPU with 100 bucks than this build? For example 1200 costs 30 bucks. Which offer I should go for?

Xeon X3480 Xeon X3480 and 8 gigs of RAM and H55 board. I guess this Xeon can be overclocked.

Hello! Friend asking about PC. He can get 1156 board + CPU + RAM + GPU + Case for around 100 bucks. GTX750 Ti Xeon X3480 8GB DDR3 FSP Fortron 450W Is it worth the effort or should he save money and go for Ryzen startup build slowly? He is not that much into gaming, something like GTA and NBA 2k series. Mostly works on studies projects. Plex server also would be nice. Thanks.

Case is Slim MicroATX, where GPU won't fit in closed case, so Ill leave that open for time. Can I safely try to test some games with that PSU and later buy better Case and PSU?
