I would highly prefer these: A good GPU, something around 3060 I would prefer AMD, but fine with Intel as well. A good screen, 15" would be enough. Looking for good color corrections. Semi-decent battery life. Something that doesn't have a "gaming" look. Budget: 2000$ Will be used for 3d modelling and game development alongside with my desktop computer. I am earning money from it. I know it is overkill for 144hz 1080p gaming but I also know that it will be a good choice for rendering and stuff.

I don't use both screens while playing games. I only use the one with 144hz. Sorry for misinformation.

Hi everyone! I am an indie game developer. I use stuff like Blender, Maya, Unity 3D, Unreal Engine all the time. I play games nearly 2h everyday. So I am building a system right now. I picked an 3700X as my CPU and I'm looking for a GPU. I've 2 monitors at home and they are both 1080p (main one is 144hz, second one is 75hz). My question is, is it overkill to buy a RTX2080? Should I go with RTX2070 Super, or even RTX2070? Thanks for the answers.

I consider buying MSI GE75 with i7 9th gen and RTX2080. I've also looked at some 2080 Max-q laptops. Is there a notable performance lose?
