So the first issue I'm having is shown here, this happens in games where I will get a short moment when the game freezes but the other aspects of the computer is fine, obs is still running, webcam continues unaffected(happens again in the video at 12min). I do have these games on an Inland Premium 512GB 3D NAND M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive, not sure how I can check that I'm not getting stuttering from that. I have run hard drive tests when I first installed it (I installed new RAM at the same time that was giving me issues) but maybe I just don't know how to interpret the results or what to look for. Maybe it's the RAM (but wouldn't that cause the webcam to freeze as well)? This stuttering/freezing happens in Overwatch and Dota 2 as well.
Second Issue, and maybe this should be it's own topic is that I haven't played the game in 6 years and when I tried to join a game, any game including trying to host one locally, it would say "Disconnected Client Timed Out". I have no idea what to do, I tried several solutions online including reinstalling, setting a +clientport number launch option, looking for blob files though I didn't see any. After reinstalling it didn't work, adding the launch port option did work for about 10 minutes until I was disconnected and could not reconnect. Anyone dealt with this issue before? I'm assuming it's something with windows defender or something?This issue seems unique to l4d2 on my end.
