  1. ah, so there is no other fix than to turn off HDR... then there is one big hassle, HDR cannot be turned off in the game.. yet? i dont know, but for now i'll just turn off HDR then. or maybe invest in an elgato game capture (also going to get a ps5 after a while so might consider that as priority #1) thanks for the help anyway
  2. hi everyone, i have an issue which i thought was only with the game but when i have HDR enabled (on my tv it looks perfectly fine) and record using thre share button or even try to play via remote play the output video turns all the blacks into blue... does anyone have the same issue or does anyone know a fix for this other than to turn off HDR? i have proof with a youtube video i tried to make but it will stay unlisted for now, it is the game watch dogs: Legion so beware of spoilers (although they may not be there still be warned) https://youtu.be/SPipWGfbDQU keep in mind that everything that even remotely looks like a faint blue is supposed to be black (water is black in gameplay but bright blue in recording) any help will be appriciated
  3. so i possibly found something that could help. if you know how to do this then we might be in luck https://nelenkov.blogspot.com/2015/06/decrypting-android-m-adopted-storage.html

  5. so how hard is it actually? does the log of rufus help? bacause rufus cannot make a partition out of it it seems
  6. update: so i found out that the 16mb partiton is an android metadata partition it's name is android_meta. and the other partitino is called android ext partiton called android_expand i know windows is kinda dumb and cn only read from fat to exFAT to NTFS.
  7. so the slider is in the off position, i tried aomei partition manager and it said basically this (see screenshot) so i don't remember what or when i used it for... can't i look at it with linux maybe? i've tried so with ubuntu but it can't seem to find it at all
  8. hi all, so recently i found an old sd card i owned, i was like "hey i want to use it for something" so i went and stick it into my pc. but it didn't show up in windows explorer... though it did show up in disk management, i wanted to format it either via there or diskpart (clean > create partition primary > format fs=fat32 quick) but i couldn't... then i realized that there was an OS like structure on the sd and i don't remember what i had put on there before, i did manage to recover all 5000 photo's that were on there but i am still not able to format it propperly. even partition wizzard 12 couldn't format it anyone know what to do? oh yeah here is a screenshot with the sd structure (it was marked as lost files (FAT) so hope that it helps)
  9. would you think it is worth getting it checked out at a computer hardware store for 40 euro or for you around 45 USD ( i'm living in the netherlands)
  10. yes sir, it had worked with the system flawlessly but after an NVMe error in linux while writing the os on the 100GB partition it didn't show up in windows anymore at all, neither in live usb's of linux... also the windows 10 OS takes about 5 to 7 minutes trying to boot instad of the normal 2 sec boot time of my ssd
  11. i'm sorry, accidentally pressed submit, i now edited the thread with more acurate info and specs of my system, also includes screenshots
  12. hello everyone, a while back i decided to write on this forum, i stated that after buying a new 1tb m.2 NVMe ssd i made a 100GB partition, on that i tried to install linux.... when writing my last post i forgot to tell you that linux bumped into an NVMe error: (something something). one of my teachers said it could've been the NVMe controller chip that crashed while installing linux, but now the problem is that i don't have enough storage, also, when booting on hiren's boot cd i noticed that the nvm express controller was functioning normally (no errors what so ever) but still no sign of the drive at all... i tried taking out every other drive in my laptop, only insterting the m.2, m.2 with the original ssd which had windows 10 installed, changed ACHI mode to comp. mode... nothing worked, now when booting windows i get a code 10 error "I/O could not start", it didn't show that when i was booted on hiren's but i still couldn't see the drive. i myself suspect that it has something to do with stornvme.inf or maybe the device flag kept it at "on" forever, thus it can't detect it at POST. please help me with this. also you can find a screenshot of the problem driver in this thread containing: status, i/o error msg and problem status msg system specs: CPU: Intel Core I7-8750H GPU intel UHD graphics 630/NVIDEA GeForce GTX 1050 motherboard: clevo N8xEJEK (barebone) SATA port 4: WDC WDS500G2B0A-00SM50 SATA port 1: NOT PRESENT {has the NVMe m.2 properly seated} BIOS: American megatrends BIOS ver. 7.11, 02/11/2018 RAM: corsair vengance 16GB (2x8GB)
  13. Hello goto10, I tried reseating it but still no luck.. I did find an error in the driver at device management, it stated that it had a code 10 and that the device could not be started (I/O failure)
  14. Hi, So I'm new to this forum and only made an account because i am lost, i recently purchased a kingspec pcie nvme ssd (1tb) and it woked perfectly fine, after i made a partition on the ssd i wanted to install ubuntu on it, all went well untill the end of the instalation where "shimsigned" was unable to install the grub bootloader. When i restarted my pc after the failed install to wipe the drive i figures out that it isn't showing in the file explorer nor the windows partition management nor in diskpart..... it isn't detected in the bios either. Anyone knows how to fix this problem and a way to recover the lost data on there? Kund regards, Xander
