  1. Yeah you're right for the OC, but if tensor cores are managed by the TU104, maybe that a flash of a bios could unlock tensor cores, a thing definitely not possible with a software? The same thing could be valuable for the 2070 Super -> 2080, sharing the same chip. Of course if this is taking to much risks I'll not do it
  2. Hi everyone! I'm building a workstation for machine learning (I don't care about gaming performances), and the """cheapest""" option for a RTX 2080 here is currently the Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080. I'm planning to be most of the time on Linux so softwares like MSI Afterburner aren't available. My question is, do you think I can flash a Bios from the Xtreme model on my non-extreme one to get the factory overclock? Otherwise, the 2080 Super will get the same TU104-400A, but will be significantly faster than the non-super with more tensor cores enabled. As Gigabyte will release an Aorus RTX 2080 Super, do you think that eventually we will be able to flash a bios of a super on the non-super to unleash all the potential of the card? Thanks a lot!
