  1. Okay, I'm really sorry to bug y'all, but I'm finding real spotty info on this topic. I'm running Windows 10, and (separate from my boot drive) I've got a 2TB SSD, and 5x3TB HDDs. I'm trying to run the HDDs in Parity, with the SSD as a cache. I've run Storage Spaces before on just the HDDs with Parity, and I've seen several posts around the web discussing Tiered Storage with Storage Spaces as well. However, I've only seen folks talk about striping or mirroring with tiered storage. Every time I see someone with the same thoughts as me ask, it's just people dunking on Parity without being much help. Look, I'm just a gamer with a habit of data hoarding. I'd like to maximize my storage, with a little redundancy, but still have whatever game is my addiction of the week load relatively snappy. I appreciate any advice y'all can give me, and hope everyone reading this has a lovely day!
  2. 1) I already did attempt Safe Mode. No difference, unfortunately. 2) To be clear, it's not just when opening programs. Any program running will do it randomly while it's in use. Even Task Manager and Windows functions like Start Menu and the Task Bar.
  3. Hmm. I knew that my PSU would be a bit weak, but I didn't think it would cause problems like this. Weird. Think underclocking my CPU and GPU would help till I get a new PSU?
  4. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Gigabyte B450m ds3h MSI Radeon Vega 56 8gb 16gb (2x8gb) G.Skill FlareX 3x 3TB Hard Drives (1 for boot, 2 for Windows Software Raid 1) 450w EVGA 80+Bronze PSU Windows 10 Pro Build 17134 64-Bit Alright, so nearly ANY program I run, the program will randomly stop responding for up to 30 seconds then resume like nothing happened. The resource usage when this happens drops to 0 on Processor and GPU, so I'm not running out of resources. And even beforehand, it happens to programs that use 10%-15% normally. Things I've tried: Not overheating Reseated the RAM Reinstalled Windows Booted into Safe Mode Updated every driver I could get my hands on BIOS is updated to latest version (v40, I think) I can't figure it out, y'all... Help?
