So my place has random power cut of not more than 5 seconds at least 4 times a day.
It's kind of annoying when the computer shuts down b/w m online gaming sessions and when doing something important and i forgot to save the progress.
I have a UPS from my previous build. Its an Intex Protector 600VA - https://www.amazon.in/Intex-600Va-Ups/dp/B009CVTWO8/ref=sr_1_2?adgrpid=57687748743&gclid=Cj0KCQjwwIPrBRCJARIsAFlVT8-BzvFtNvaXp3NjL4z101_V2hyOD9Y-luLoFJfhRj-q6FyftQr-StIaAhJhEALw_wcB&hvadid=294135675967&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=1007826&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=15349247267347029820&hvtargid=kwd-319965284113&hydadcr=5844_1738698&keywords=intex+ups+600va&qid=1566697985&s=gateway&sr=8-2
I am not planning to run the pc on that but just want it to back up the rig for those 5 to 10 seconds.
Can i hook it up with the computer?

Corsair 3000MHZ 8GB Ram
500GB HDD
Corsair CX 550 PSU
Update: Turns out the UPS is too weak to handle the load. During a power cut it couldn't keep the system up for like 3 seconds. I think i killed it. It's dead
