So I've finally decided that I need to give my pc a boost in power but my budget thinks otherwise. First let me list out my system: Asus ROG Strix z270e mobo, 650 EVGA supernova 80 gold rated, 16gb crucial ballistic sport Lt ram, 256gb 860 evo ssd, 500gb 860 evo ssd, cooler master hyper 212 led, Gtx 1070 8gb fe gpu and Gtx 770 2gb fe (as a dedicated PhysX card, I5 7600k cpu and corsair 570x case. I have had this system for about 3yrs and it's starting to show some performance loss as expected. I'm posting this to find out if it would be a good idea to buy a 2nd 1070 fe to Sli with my current one. My budget is under 300$ and I've found multiple 1070's that would work in that price range. I'm just concerned if it will bump the fps to the point where I'll be able to play 1080p 75fps or at least 60fps in 1440p.
Also I've found a gtx 1070 8gb from an Alienware r6 and am wondering if it'll work in SLI with my founders edition.
