  1. and now i have tested 2 shorter cabels (1m from wall to switch, and 2m from switch to pc) and i get a connection. but i still don't get why. If someone have any thoughts of why, let me know
  2. I took an update on my driver. (again, now straight from the Intel site) and I got the EEE setting. I've restarted my PC, and, nothing. desabled it, restarted, nothing, enebled it again, restart, nothing. So, I'm still stuck with my 10M cable when i could be using 1M.
  3. well the, I can tell you this instant that.. It's not the EEE setting that is..
  4. Where can i find the EEE setting? and yes, i got the latest drivers, also tried to uninstall and install several times..
  5. The 1m is made, but worked fine on my old setup. All the other cables are store bought. And, yeah. It's very strange I don't understand ? Edited; I've tried all the cables on my laptop as well, and they all work fine. ?
  6. I have tried 1, 2, 3 and 5 meters.. But nothing in between 5 and 10.
  7. Hello people I'm having a problem with my network on my asus rog strix z390-f motherboard. The problem is that when I use a 1-5 meter network cable, my internet won't connect, but when I use a 10 meter, it works. I should also mention that the router, is upstairs in my landlords house, and it's a cable inside the wall. The stretch on the cable in the wall is aprox, 25 meters. Hope there are some viceguy out there that can help me.
