  1. Hey, i basically play 1 game only and im not that tech savy. The Coalition recently released Title update 2, along with that came a new graphical option, Reduced buffering. I lock my FPS to 144 regardless because it reduces load on GPU. My PC is able to get more FPS than my monitor refresh rate, but should i even turn it on if i lock my fps? Screenshot below
  2. Hey, i wanted to launch Gears 5 only to find out the Xbox app broke down, i updated windows, restarted PC. It didnt fix it. I decided to reinstall the Xbox App but i literally cant download it again. I got my PC delivered Game Ready and the company already OC'ed the system for me. Resetting my PC seems to be the only option, but i wont if i have to literally download every driver again
  3. Im aware that i manually need to check and update my nvidea drivers but is that the same for intel? i7-8700k I got my PC pre-build and got it delivered game ready, but do i need to keep track of new updates?
  4. I tried launching Gears 5 today after gaming all day on Steam, It did not launch. So i tried launching 2 other game pass games and they didn't launch either. I checked to see if i could launch, Steam, Origin, Battlenet, Uplay games. No problems whatso ever. I checked to see if there was a windows update, there was one i installed it and restarded my PC. Didnt help. I figured i would try and re-install the Xbox app. i deleted it and when i tried installing it again It said : Error 0x80246019 The Xbox app cannot be installed... I have game pass ultimate and i dropped 40 dollars into gears 5 would suck if i cant play anymore. And im sorry i posted this here there is literally no info on this error code and Microsoft support is a joke. What can i do? I restarted my PC multiple times already
  5. i dont think i ever saw anything over 144hz even on unlimited. seems the monitor automatically sticks to 144? never seen any tearing either
  6. Alot of games give you the option to cap your fps to 144 but is it better to have it uncapped if you have a 144hz monitor? I use a freesync monitor with an NVIDEA GPU
  7. Okay thanks. In your honest opinion, would you change the case? if that is at all possible
  8. Sorry im not quite sure what you are saying, ive been told that the 1070TI should be below 85C, I have never seen it go above 81C. someone posted this : ''The higher the temp the shorter the life of the card, now it is usually the capacitors on the card that fail and not the GPU itself, 75-85C is fine for a 5-8 year life span, depending on the card. Just make sure that the card never exceeds 91C that will fry your card. '' Is he not correct? Why should i worry then? EDIT: what do u mean by boost?
  9. Well i checked it out. They are not reversed. I would not expect that from a professional PC building company either. Its not like it averages at 85C anyway. they are spikes, it rarely stays above 80C for longer than a second. EDIT: with the front panel off it does not get hotter than 70C spikes. perhaps i should leave it off while gaming?
  10. Uhm i guess so the company i ordered it from promised to overclock the system while maintaning acceptable temps. all i have done is enabled User defined software automatic fan control on MSI afterburner. I have only opened the case once and that was to clean it. i do think all the fans work though EDIT: i have never actually measured the IDLE temp nor do i know how to. all i know is when i start up a game the temps i see are around 40C
  11. Oh LOL im sorry im not a native english speaker. 20C something like that
