  1. Other laptops are straight ugly. I want an aluminum body windows laptop for graduate school. You can give me an incredible spec sheet but it doesn't matter in a professional setting like a conference or a group meeting, you'll be looked down upon. QC can be overcome with amazon's/Microsoft return policies. The only suitable alternative I've found is a Dell XPS, but I want a 144hz screen so its Razer or bust IMO. I'd happily consider any other suggestions!
  2. SenKa, thank you so much; that was the exact info I was looking for. I just assumed they would use the same chassis, which was a poor assumption in retrospect. Also aftermarket panels are about $150-200, whereas the price difference between 60hz (base) to 144hz (adv) models is upward of $1000.
  3. I mainly ask because there is an insane deal for the bade model on amazon, but I absolutely want a 144hz screen. I only game a little bit, but I've used 144 hz screens and just find them superior for student/professional use alongside gaming.
  4. Hello, I'm new the the forums. I'm curious if anyone knows if there are hardware limitations to just taking the Razer Blade 15 base model, and swapping the screen with an advanced model 144 hz panel. It would save ~$700 and give me the laptop I want. Curious if anyone has an opinion/experience with this.
