I have a dual pc streaming setup and a LGP Lite (gl310) by Avermedia, I’ve been wanting to upgrade the monitor for my gaming pc to a 2k 144hz monitor with g sync, my question is... does a 1080p60 hz pass through mean that I only can game at 1080p60 hz while streaming? Any easy way to bypass this so I get the full experience on my monitor while streaming through my second pc?

A couple of days ago I had build a new build and had to take the motherboard out of my prebuilt computer, the only problem is I had to rib off the antennas of the WiFi chip on my motherboard because the prebuilt was built in a stupid way. I would use and Ethernet cable, but I just so far from the box and don’t want a cable running through my whole house, so I was just wondering if I could put the attach the antennas back to the WiFi piece on my motherboard. If so a video would also be nice, couldn’t find any, thanks in advance.

So I probably would just want to get that ram later on with another cpu with k in its name and a good chipset and new motherboard pretty much. Well I got other things to buy, I’ll just save up for those “other thing”

So if I were to get 3600 MHz then my system wouldn’t run faster not because of the chipset but just because of the cpu itself?

I have a i7-7700 and wanted to upgrade my RAM to 3600 MHz 16 gb, the only thing stopping me from buying it is what I had recently learned about my chipset, apparently it can only run 2133 MHz, my chipset is a H170, can I upgrade to a better chipset or will it not be compatible? If there are any compatible ones out there then please give me recommendations, no budget, just want to get the job done with.

Oh, so I don’t necessarily need a sound card to get surround sound, I can just get an amp? I’ll check those out that you recommended.

I see, I need a sound card, well I would need to fit that in that 320$ budget, anyone know good sound cards under 100$ (I probably could squeeze 340$ in for the whole headset and sound card but, I really wanna stay under 300$ if possible)
