  1. What would happen if it didn't have the right version? Also, what would I do if that happened?
  2. I'm planning on upgrading the ram and running a few things on it as a server. I was going to do Teamspeak and mumble. Also, maybe host a few small websites.
  3. I don't really have a preference. I am going to use it to run Teamspeak and mumble and host a small website for my corporation in Eve.
  4. Anyone have a good guide on running Teamspeak and mumble on my own server using a desktop computer?
  5. I got this H97 Guard-PRO for $20. I'm trying to find a cheap quad core processor for it. Anyone know a good option for an 1150?
  6. So I got the 850 BQ in 2017 for $65 on a sale. I wouldn't say I have a budget for my son's computer, but I definitely want to spend as little as possible, he is 7. According to PC Part the 9590 build is at 414 watt and the Ryzen 2700 build runs at 356 watts. If I could buy two of the same PSU between 450 and 550 watts and then use the 850 for my next build that would probably be my main choice. I'm just unsure how close to push it to pcpartpickers watt numbers.
  7. I apologize. The motherboard is a 970. My son's computer only has 1 GPU which is the 4gb Windforce 460. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XMmszY This says I could get away with a 450W PSU.
  8. I'm going to do my best. I have a computer I am trying to fix so my son can start playing Minecraft on a PC instead of the pocket edition. I have an FX 9590, with a LEPA AquaChanger 120mm with 2 x 4 GB 1866 RAM on a Gigabyte 970. 4GB Windforce 460 GPU. SSD. No optical drives. Not going to upgrade further. Not going to overclock. It needs a power supply. 2 120 mm Fans. My rig is a Ryzen 2700 with a wraith max cooler. Asus A320M board. 2 sticks of 2666 8GB RAM. 8GB Red Devil Golden Sample GPU. 4 120mm Fans. I have an EVGA 850 BQ. I don't overclock and I won't be upgrading. I need to know the smallest (cheapest) PSU I can use as a temporary fix. I'm going to build either a Threadripper or 3900X next so I don't want to put too much into it.
