  1. The ssd is about a year old, I used it in an old build. These are the only ram sticks I have atm I just purchased them about 2 weeks ago during the big ram sale that was going on. 16gb for $100. Also do you think it could be one stick or two sticks? Any way for me to check to see if its the ram causing it? Really pissed this is happening because I dont wanna have to exchange it and wait longer to game
  2. Hey so I used DDU that didn't work. I nearly got locked out of my PC completely, I just did a hard reset by resetting everything back to factory settings. Still couldn't get the drivers working. When I did a hard reset I thought at first that it was fine. I was able to play 75% way through a song in osu before my PC just decided to randomly freeze with no error at all. I waited about 2 minutes thinking it would blue screen on me and tell me what the issue was and it didn't. I checked CPUID HWM and all temps seem to be fine. Nothing overheating at all. So What gives? Why is it constantly freezing on me only when I have the 630 drivers? :/
  3. I uninstalled driver through device manager. I'll edit in the specs
  4. No I had to sell my 1060 for bills, but I'm saving up for either a 1070 or a 2060.
  5. My PC has been freezing when ever I start up a game with the latest dedicated graphic drivers. I uninstalled them and nothing freezes. Sometimes my PC even without going into a game would randomly black screen or BSOD on me saying it was something related to the CPU. But the PC works fine when the drivers aren't even installed. I can't afford a GPU for another month, still getting bills squared away so atm I have to rely on dedicated graphics until I can afford my 2060 later on. Any idea on how to fix this? I thought it could be because the CPU was over heating but its only the second when I start up a game. Even a simple 2D game like osu causes it to crash instantly. edit : should also point out, this is a fresh install of windows 10 home. edit 2 specs : cpu : i7 9700k Kaby lake mobo : asrock z390 phantom SLI Ram : Corsair 16GB Pro rgb Mhz 3000 CPU Cooler : Noctua D15 SSD : Crucial 240gb
  6. My 144hz monitor broke, so I was in need of a new monitor. Plus the BenQ I had my eyes on which was a 144hz display was $250 brand new and the alienware 240hz was on sale for $300 at the time. So $50 extra for a 240hz display I thought why not. I always wanted to get a 240hz display ever since the EIZO monitors came out, but I was skeptical about buying a brand that even a lot of CSGO pros complained about.
  7. Looking to get a used card, I can get a used 1070 on /r/hardwareswap for about $150 shipped which is an insanely good deal considering I paid $400 for my 1060 when that card came out. My old 1060 was able to push 200fps on some latest games like WWII on low settings and didn't seem to have many issues perfect for my 144hz display. I'm wondering though, would a 1070 be enough for a 240hz display on low settings? The games I mainly would be playing are the following - CoD zombies WaW / Bo1 / Bo2 / Bo3 / WWII - CSGO - CrossFire HD - osu I don't usually play that many titles anymore, though if there are any new FPS games that come out in the future I wouldn't mind trying them and still hitting 144 - 240hz. I think it should be more than fine for CSGO and the other titles, but I'm wondering if I'd be able to hit 240hz in Zombies specifically on bo3 and WWII on low settings. I was able to reach about 200fps on small maps like grosten haus on WWII but they would still dip when I would get a bunch of ragdolls on my screen.
  8. This is what I was wondering, I think it could be. But I don't see an option to restore to factory default. How exactly do I go about restarting BIOS?
  9. Can't afford a graphics card atm, waiting till the end of the month to possibly get a 1060 or 1070 when I can afford it. Bills come first. According to my PC, 620 doesn't work and that it requires 630 in order to do gaming, and yeah I'm well aware it isn't much but the games I play aren't graphically intensive anyway. I mainly play csgo and osu. Osu runs perfectly fine and csgo I can get up to almost 200fps on integrated graphics when playing at 1364x768 4:3 resolution. I just tried running DDU as you suggested and reinstalled the intel drivers and osu is still crashing
  10. Specs here : https://i.imgur.com/13jHOLz.png Sorry but i'm new and I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this. Should probably note this : I bought the motherboard used from a previous owner, he claims its only 3 months old and that he used it with a i9 9900k and tried overclocking it to 5Ghz but that the motherboard wouldn't support it which is why he sold it to me. Seemed reasonable for the price, I only paid $80 for it. Currently I'm facing issues with my build. I keep blue screening when ever I have the intel UHD 630 drivers installed. If they're not installed 0 issues at all (but can't game) :( I just ran a fresh install of windows 10 thinking that because I was using an old SSD that was used in a previous PC build, it shouldn't be a big deal on a new PC (saving me trouble of having to reinstall every game) I reinstalled windows 10 and reinstalled all the intel drivers and to prevail nothing still worked. My PC keeps crashing randomly giving errors like "watchdog timeout" and a couple other errors. One related to the CPU and one related to the motherboard itself. So I'm not sure what the issue is here. When ever I have the driver installed the PC will make a insanely loud buzzing noise and then freeze instantly and then either blue screen or no display at all when I try to launch a game. If I'm just browsing on the desktop trying to search for help, the PC itself will just lag (cursor will still be able to move) and I can't make any clicks until it freezes then shuts off completely. What do I do? I just spent $900 on this PC :/
