    Someone saying cooling components shortens there life seems fishy but they must mean low temperatures (and lets point out he said likes warm not hot) could reduce rewrites we also know they definitely DO throttle at high temps. Yet to be seen how relevant this is with the pci-e 4.0 stuff which seem to consume more power they certainly have some large heatsinks lol. You can get the sabrent 2tb one without a heatsink for $430 add a waterblock and your still less $ then a 2tb samsung evo plus why not
