So i go to download the portal to the rgb keyboard software for my sk630 and its just not opening the files but my cooler master mm830 has no issues working (rgb and keybinds work fine) but i just cant get the keyboard software to open up for me at all. once it even said that i needed an application to use the software but my mouse works fine (after a couple tries downloading because that gave me a hard time at first but works fine now) and im not that tech savvy so im clueless. i may know how to build a computer but i sure do not know how to operate it lol

If you are fine with the performance you are getting with your 1060 3gb then you dont need to upgrade yet. And if you need a great price to performance motherboard then the b450 msi tomahawk mobo is a great choice
-
if you have the money to buy a new graphics card then a 1650 super is a great option for around $160 and will give you better performance over all than a 1060 3gb, it wont be a crazy leap but it will out perform the 1060 enough to notice gains
-
a 1060 is enough to run those games but maybe not fortnite on epic settings
-
the pair would work fine if you are gaming but i would buy a faster gpu to keep up with newer games becoming harder to run
-
The 1060 3gb would pair with a 2700x perfectly fine. If you had a weaker cpu like 2600 and got a 2080 ti then a cpu upgrade would be needed because you would need a faster cpu to send data fast enough so that the 2080 ti could run at its max potential. If i were i would upgrade the gpu just because the 1060 3gb isnt that fast of a gpu anymore by todays standards because of games getting harder to run. And a great price to performance and feature set motherboard is the MSI B450 Tomahawk if you are sticking with ryzen, it goes for about $115 and its a very robust option if you dont want to break the bank.

2600x or 2700x for Elder Scrolls Online?
manta0604 replied to manta0604's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Yes building new and already have the 590 and the budget doesn’t really matter at this point because I already have other parts and I live in America- 7 replies

I’m gonna use an after market air cooler

The 2600 has a base clock of 3.4 GHz and a max boost of 3.9 GHz The 2600x has a base clock of 3.6 GHz and a max boost of 4.2 GHz For a $20 difference (as of Sep. 2019) is the 2600x a better buy if I want to over clock and have just a better time overall with it. And if I do over clock will it make much of a difference in cpu heavy games?

I was wondering if I should get the 2600 the 2600x or the 2700x for Elder Scrolls Online. I heard that ESO likes clock speed so I thought about getting the 2600x over the 2600 but then I thought that if the game likes cores than I might as well get the 2700x which has 2 more cores and has a max boost of 4.3 GHz which is a 2 in one package. Does ESO like clock speed, lots of cores, or both?

Corsairs LL140 series of fans come in at most 2 fans in a pack with a lighting node pro that only has 2 led control plug ins. I want to control 3 LL140 fans so do I have to spend money on another lighting node pro to get those 2 extra led control plug ins or can I just plug the third fans rgb plug into my motherboard and still be able to use the same Corsair software as the other two fans plunged into the lighting node pro?

The rgb hub only has 2 rgb connectors not three so I can only plug in two rgb fans not three so do I need to buy another lighting node pro?
