    Sorry, im still confused. I have been doing this switch off thing for months(since april i believe) i would forget to do it often but im preparing for the worst, should i be worried about my pcs lifespan as at worst i have done this about 150 times

    Ive been doing it some nights since april(i forget sometimes) I finally just went into bios and turn Aura LEDs completely off. Should i be worried about the time i have left with the pc?

    I thought it might be similar to unplugging your pc from the wall(while its still on) i found out its just like a power button and can corrupt data

    So whenever i go to bed and the pc is shut down the leds still show. Im pretty sure i can disable them in bios, but the bios scares me. Can i keep just flipping my psu switch off whenever the pc is off? Also, sometimes my girlfriends desired way to shut it off is via the switch at the back? Can doing this while its on hurt the pc?

    Got it in, was able to screw it down with my little nub supporting it from the back. You think its all good?

    So, i actually only have one arm so it makes it extremely difficult to install the psu bracket to the psu before sliding it into the case, am i able to slide the psu in the case first then put the bracket on and screw down the psu? (what i mean by bracket installed to psu before sliding into case below)

    Yikes, that must be quite the heavy drop in order for that to happen.

    The gpu is being detected. Is that enough? Or do i have to open up the case?

    Thats screwed in tightly into a bracket, how would i check for errors via Crystal disk mark?

    I was putting my pc on some wood to elevate it from the carpet and the legs of my pc slipped off and the case hit the wood. My my screen and mouse froze and my keyboard turned off. I restarted and everything works as it should again. Should i be concerned?

    Just got home and turned it on. Seems to work. There isnt any possibility of future damage caused by this is there?

    Wait you dropped screws into plugged in and turned on systems? Someone said that easily would destroy a motherboard.

    I forgot to drain my PSU and I dropped a screw on my mobo(while the psu was plugged in but turned off but it was on before that and the psu.) I havent got around to powering it on and I found the screw and put it were it belongs. Would the little bit of electrcity running through the components be enough to get shorted by a screw? Or is it more of a safety precaution so the builder doesn't get hurt to drain it?
