  1. i have already checked bios and there's nothing i can do to tweak. I am currently going to try downgrading my bios to the very first one and monitor the thermals and wattage and other stuff
  2. I just guessed it to be CPU because the CPU didn't get enough power i've tried setting power plan to high performance and ultimate performance. Both didn't help.
  3. any way to work around this to get my CPU enough power?
  4. i am currently using throttlestop and MSI afterburner for monitoring puropses
  5. Hey everyone, my laptop is ASUS FX504GE. Whenever I game or do GPU intensive stuff, the CPU wattage drops to around 14 W and fluctuates in that region. When not gaming, the CPU stays at around 25 W and when only the CPU is on load, it goes to 40+ W. Temps are pretty high when gaming and even when idle. Max GPU temps goes to 90C and CPU goes to 88C. I keep my laptop always at Overboost mode (Fn key+F5). BIOS is v. 317. The CPU frequency does not go above 2.3 GHz (base clock) when gaming. So I am not getting the promised performance with the specifications. Please help.
  6. hello everyone there in the discussion. I own FX504 GE and my cpu drops to around 16 W when gaming. Along with this, CPU downclocks to base speed of 2.30GHz and stays there unless i close the game. Anyone experiencing this too?
