  1. Tube is not hot at all. Tube feels like room temperature. CPU is hot, if felt on the boundaries of the CPU socket. The mounting brace for the AIO is not hot at all.
  2. I tried keeping my hand on the tubes of the H115i and from what I've felt, there was always waterflow. What I felt was a little vibrating. The confusing thing is, in BIOS, it says 4500 RPM which is impossible. 2000 is max RPM for H115i if I recall correctly. And my hardware monitoring software reads 1800 RPM. I also tried a different SATA power connector to no avail. Do you think this could be a CPU problem, maybe?
  3. UPDATE: Computer is still thermal throttling, I think? Can boot into Windows but after a few min starts becoming very slow and automatically shuts down. Can't open task manager before auto shut down, but hardware monitoring software (and BIOS) say that CPU is at 95 c (203 f) and 99% CPU load. I have a NZXT Noctis 450 so my config is I connect fan hub of the case to CPU_FAN, and H115i pump to the designated connector on fan hub. Something I noticed was that RGB of fans and pump turn off after a few min. They work fine on startup, then just turn off. I shut down manually (not automatic shut down) once and when I did manual shut down, RGB lights turned on again until computer is off. Rad fans are always on despite RGB turning off. Not sure what to do now.
  4. I replugged every connector related to the H115i. RGB still turns on upon startup, then goes away after a few minutes. Upon shut down, RGB turns on again. PC still throttles. Runs fine for a bit as described before, then becomes awfully slow and shuts down. CPU is at 99% load with 95 c (203 f) temp or higher. My configuration is with the NZXT Noctis 450 case. It comes with a fan hub. So I connected my pump header on H115i to the designated connector on the fan hub, and fan hub is connected to CPU_FAN. All fans work properly all the time.
  5. How can I make sure it is seated properly? Last time I just put it on the mount and secured it with thumb screws. How do I know? There are a few connections with my H115i. My H115i is connected to a SATA and USB 2.0 (USB 2.0 is on NZXT USB 2.0 Hub). H115i is also connected to W_PUMP. Finally, each radiator fan has two connections: one for RGB and one for power I'm guessing. My mistake in the original post, I will edit it out. Both the RGB connector and the power connector of each radiator fan is connected to the H115i.
  6. I did not repaste the new cooler, I will do that now. The RGB did turn on for the pump as well as the fans, however, a few minutes later they turned off. The fans kept running though.
  7. Old H115i was hitting 85 c (185 f) on just League of Legends, so I figured something is wrong. Replaced H115i with H115i Platinum. What I did so far is changed thermal paste, replaced cooler from H115i to brand new H115i Platinum. Then changed USB 2.0 internal connector that the H115i was connected to. Then I moved the pump of H115i from fan hub to W_PUMP on mobo. Rad fans connected to H115i, both RGB connection and power connection. Everything else (case fans) connected to fan hub, fan hub connected to CPU_FAN on mobo. Ran computer, went into Windows. Was fine for a few min, started throttling again, or at least I think it's throttling. Was at 99% load at startup (no apps open except Corsair Link, NZXT CAM, and MSI Afterburner) at 95 c (203 f). Tried to open task manager and computer auto self-shut down, so I'm guessing this is a throttling problem. If it was mobo short or something like that, I don't think I would've made it into Windows? What can I do?
  8. Pardon my ignorance, but don't both services only have a limited part selection?
  9. Sorry, not sure where to put this. I was gonna put this in off-topic but it said no tech-related content so... Anyways, hi, I want to know if anyone knows a cheap but quality service to get my PC built. I've had problems in building PCs before so I want someone else to do it. On top of this, my schedule is pretty busy so I have little time and, honestly, building a PC stresses me out because I've screwed up one of my older builds before. I live in Vancouver, Canada. NCIX closed down, I know they had a service for $50 and another $50 on top of that for cable management. Now that they have closed down, not sure what to do.
  10. Very important edit: I made it into Windows, past startup, extremely slow. Was like this for about 5 minutes, couldn't get anything open to check temperature, and then PC immediately shuts off again.
  11. So I had heating problems before. I actually posted here about it a while back and I was told that my pump for my radiator was broken. That would make sense, I had a 2-year-old H115i and I was getting 90+ degrees C on just League of Legends, super easy to run game, and 60 degrees C idle, room temp is 25 degrees C. So I now recently replaced my old H115i with a H115i Platinum. When I run my machine, everything is fine anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 minutes, then things start to all apart. So on startup, it immediately leads me to UEFI saying that I have a temperature problem. When I check in BIOS, my CPU temp 89 degrees C and keep in mind I'm not playing or doing anything, this is literally just on startup. Then, after, my PC proceeds to instantly shut down without warning. So far, now, I have only been able to make it into BIOS once (I have to turn my monitor on/off every time I start up for some reason which never happened before, because of this, it takes a while to get into BIOS), but I have attempted around 5 times and 4 of those 5 times my computer immediately shut off before I could even make it to BIOS. I don't know why the computer is shutting off, either I have a short on my motherboard or the temperature perhaps? Fan speed on startup is very slow and then rapidly picks up as if it knows my CPU is very hot. I have a few guesses now: Faulty CPU (but I doubt it otherwise I'm pretty sure the computer wouldn't even startup) Faulty setup for new H115i Motherboard shortage to explain the sudden shut downs, not sure how this would happen though, I was working on floor, barefeet, with antistatic wristband connected to grounding prong on wall outlet Anyways, I'm not sure what to do now. Config: 6850K non-OC H115i Platinum AX860i GTX 1080 DDR4-3466 32 GB (8x4) Asus ROG Strix X99 Mobo
  12. I'm having very high CPU temperatures and I'm not sure why. Build: 6850K (not overclocked) H115i Liquid Cooler GTX 1080 DDR4 4 sticks of 8 GB, 32 GB RAM at 3200 MHz AX860i Temperature in room is 20C (68F). Fans are not PWM. They're based off of voltage I believe. Thermal paste is a few hours old, whole build is 2.5 years old. I tried: Reapplying thermal paste Oiling case fans (but all of them were fine beforehand) Using an air conditioner until my room hit 15C (59F) Dusting the entire PC, including the case, the fans, the radiator - everything Redoing cable management Tightening the liquid cooler pump onto the CPU I have two screenshots. First picture is when I'm playing League of Legends in a Discord call, with one tab of Google Chrome open. Second picture is just Discord open, and in a Discord call. I don't think it matters but my frames in League of Legends hover around 100 fps. 87C = 188.6F 47C = 116.6F
