  1. I think your right I will reach out to the seller.
  2. Just did that now. Same issue unfortunately.
  3. I disconnected the CMOS battery on the Gigabyte motherboard this morning for about an hour. The issue still is happening.
  4. I would agree with you. But from my testing everything points to the CPUs being killed. The CPUs have always been used with coolers during my tests so overheating is unlikely.
  5. Yes the MSI board was used. Your correct I'm certain the MSI Board is at fault. I was just hoping that the CPUs were recoverable. Otherwise my cheap used build has just got very expensive. I have not tried resetting the CMOS yet on either of the motherboards. I will try this tomorrow when back at my desk and report back.
  6. Hello all, I have recently been building a PC from second hand parts and have ran into some issues. I would like to know if my two CPUs are in fact dead. As part of my build I got hold of a MSI B150I Gaming Pro motherboard and a Intel i5-6600k. When I connected all the parts and powered it on nothing but the fans came on. No POST codes or anything on the display. So I started troubleshooting with by swapping out the PSU for a know good one. Still had the same issue. Next I replaced the RAM with new sicks from Amazon. Still the same issue. In fact the issue is the same with no RAM installed. I also got hold of a used Intel G3900. This was did not help as the same issue existed. Then I ordered a new Gigabyte H110N motherboard and an Intel i3-6320 from Amazon. These two components with the original RAM and PSU booted to the BIOS with no issue. But when using the i5-6600k or G3900 I found the same issue no POST codes or output to the display. After this I put the new i3-6320 into the original MSI B150I Gaming Pro motherboard and the same issue. So at this point a decided the MSI B150I Gaming Pro motherboard was the problem. But when putting the i3-6320 back in the Gigabyte H110N motherboard had the same issue as if by using this CPU in the MSI board has killed it. Sorry for the long explanation bit I thought it was necessary for my ultimate question. Has or could the MSI B150I Gaming Pro motherboard have killed 3 CPU? And has anyone seen this kind if thing before? Are any of the CPU recoverable? Thanks in advanced.
