  1. Router settings in it's settings? I would need the password for that router which i don't have. Also how can I tell if I have a public IP or cgnat?
  2. My isp is very tiny and so I doubt anybody here would know of it buts it's awde net. And I'm in Lebanon. I've tried: routersploit, using and Ethernet tap to try to read the data coming through the isp Ethernet cable(not certain I did it correctly), wireshark directly to the wan port of my router, try my luck by simply replacing the router with another.
  3. Thing is i don't have a modem. I have a Ethernet cable coming in to my apartment from the isps main network. And resetting the router would mean I lose its configuration so it's pointless. I'm not even sure if my router uses pppoe or is given a astatic IP or pptp.
  4. I want my isp credentials from my router cuz I want to change my router myself without having to have them come and do it. Sadly they don't give away they're credentials and they change the password if ur router as they set it up. I know that tenda routers (tenda ac10) can auto set up and take isp info from ur old router by connecting it's lan port to wan port of the old router. Is there anyway I can do something similar using a pc. Like using wireshark for example. Also my router is an old Linksys wrtu54g-tm. So if u know any router specific tricks please help. I need either the new router password or the isp credentials (which i don't know what type they use cuz it's a direct lan connection to the isp network. I.e. no modem.) Please help and thanks
  5. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
  6. Suddenly, my PC stopped turning on other than for for half a second. I discovered that my old Antec PSU was the problem and replaced it. Now it actually turns on and I can see the POST screen, but thats it. I can't enter the bios or boot menu or anything else. I can only see the POST message which ends with the RAM size and then it just stops there. When I press F8 or any other button it shows that it was pressed but doesn't enter another screen or menu. Specs: Xeon x3470 8gb 1333mhz DDR3 Asus p7h55-m pro Zotac 1050 Ti And a USB 3.0 card that I tried to remove but still gave the same problem. Edit: I tried to play around with the RAM sticks and tried to reset CMOS but neither worked.
