  1. Hi just looking for any suggestions people might have regarding multi monitor configurations. I'm really hoping windows 11 will bring some stability into this world when it comes out. Current issues: *When windows starts up, it will fail to set up the displays correctly with a possibly of a number of issues such as not selecting the correct resolutions for the displays; completely forgetting the config of them; setting one to a very low res and being unable to adjust it back *One display will flicker affecting the entire pc lagging it when this happens. Restarting the system resolves this. With the system having diffrent resolutions for some of the displays I am assuming this causes some problems. below being the config
  2. Don't get me wrong and I fully understand the situation. I just find it funny that they are selling them in some cases here more than what people are selling them on eBay and Facebook. I am hoping this is a good sign that they ended up with over 100 in stock and that their is more to follow, probably not. As a community though when a retailer is just as bad as the scalpers themselves the response of £1300 is cheap definitely hurts me in the feels. This seems to be the biggest load sold in the uk for a while so I hope that their inflated prices don't actually increase the scalper price
  3. Overclockers UK got somewhere around 100 RTX 3070 cards in stock today, unfortunately they follows suite with scalper prices all around £1150-1300 for a RTX 3070. Obviously this is quite the dick move to pull. I think many people would understand a price increase with how few cards are on the market, but not almost 3x MSRP. Unfortunately I do not have any screenshots of the exact pricing as getting around to this they have already all sold out Annoyed with this I thought I would send a ticket, knowing I wouldn't get what I wanted but purely to see their response. As you can see I wasn't exactly setting off on the right foot here. They did respond to me the same day though. Along with fucking up a 3 letter name
  4. CPU load within obs was around 3% task manager and process lasso showed very little usage as a whole. The game being played was a gta V RP server looked like the threads it was using was around 70-80% load with around 20 threads with very low load Streaming platform is twitch and showed a choppy stream. Dont have a screenshot of "in action" data but the values effected was Average time to render frame Frames missed due to render lag which resulted in FPS dropping from 30 and skiping around 20-30 mark My scene is pretty bare with just game cap, camlink and stream elements web overlay
  5. Hi, in this lovely world where no one can buy a graphics card I had assumed that my 5950x would be okay for encoding stream wise. pretty disappointed to see that even on the very fast preset that my 5950x still struggles with these settings 2500kbps CBR 1080 30fps very fast Now I thought maybe it was just struggling to delegate the work load and tried using process lasso to organise it better between the game being played and the encoding. With no effect, you would assume that a this is a task a 5950x could manage perfectly fine. I feel like there must be something I'm missing and hopefully it is quite obvious to someone. I would be using nvenc to encode but my 1660ti struggles with the game plus encoding well. Help me Linustechtips forum you're my only hope
  6. Blade side up im not a mad man! Don't have a photo of fixed pins but the single pin and the group where all pretty much undisguisable from the the rest. Don't think i'll be deliding this anytime soon. Did delid my 4790k I had before this though.
  7. Sent a email off to where I purchased it from. This square box looks real square
  8. All sorted now any card does sound like a great option as well. Craft knife seemingly would only smoothly fit if the pins where straight so was a good judgement on the condition of pins. the fear when I put it into the motherboard and it didn't seem to actually sit in correctly was a real pain in the booty
  9. After waiting a month for my pre order to arrive. finding my new CPU to come with a smashed box and bent pins was pretty devastating. I'm so glad phones are good enough to take close up photos so that I could exactly see where the issue was. Craft knife fits perfectly within the the gaps to straighten it out and is fully working now. Just wanted to share the images really
  10. It was 5PM but they seem to have brought it forward which is nice might be able to get next day delivery with that timing If you try contacting a retailer over there you should be able to find out some information from them.
  11. Hey all exciting news Just finished exchanging emails with Overclockers UK regarding the release time of the new ryzen cpu's in the UK Timing seems to of changed and has been brought forward to 2PM email for context
  12. Very true, but also half the time usb is usb in most cases
  13. Daym that's got a 1 more than i currently have. Also £250 more than this m-atx board cost me back then
  14. Thanks for the info. my only gripe i has is my old arse Z87 motherboard has more usb ports than everything im looking at
  15. it will be worth going though the monitors settings and fiddling around with those to see if maybe its on a warmer setting than your other display. If the two differences are too distracting one option is to try and adjust them both so that they are the same with each other so that it is less noticeable
