  1. Nope. Even setting to 3000 won't post. I'm by far not the best are trying to OC it without using xmp but as far as I know I'm not missing anything. It just won't post until it defaults back. I don't know why. I'm not sure if there is something not corrected right in the PC or what could be going on. Im just not sure why I've had so many problems with this setup. Edit: Even set memory try it to 2933 16-18-18-18-36 at 1.36v with no luck. I even just tried xmp at 3200 at 1.4v. Can't really go any higher. Didn't work. Ran another benckmark, pretty much the same scores. A little lower because i wasnt oc the cpu. Im not really sure what to do other than either reinstalling windows(for the third time) or get a new mobo and cpu as that is really the only thing i can think of that is causing the issues. @TheKDub @Lurick
  2. Every time that i try to OC the ram, it doesn't post. I'm not sure why. I had originally reinstalled windows and they actually did overclock for a while and then i had moved my PC to another location and when i turned it on, it wouldn't post again until it defaulted back to 2133. I'm not sure why. As for the GPU, i am reinstalling afterburner now, it was installed but i had reinstalled windows again to try and see if i could get the RAM to oc again but no luck. GPU AND CPU temps are fine in-game. No issues there. I usually watch them to make sure. My motherboard is up-to-date along with the graphics drivers. @LiamApex @TheKDub @Lurick
  3. So, I have a pretty decent PC, but it's not performing as expected what-so-ever. When im playing games, im getting frames way lower than i should be and stuttering. Honestly, I'm not sure what to do or how to fix any of this. I have searched through forums for hours trying any and all solutions to help with this but no luck. I ran a benchmark, and the link is below for you to look and parts and the score. It says my RAM performed bad but thats because my mobo version cant overclock it so its running at base clock not oc. If ANYONE can help me at all, i would be so appreciative. Originally, i was thinking that maybe my GPU is being bottlenecked by my mobo but honestly, i dont know. Before i drop a lot of money back into this PC, I just need some really good advice on what i should do, look for that could be affecting my pc, and what could be wrong with it. Thanks guys. 4. Update: I have tried messing around with the NVIDIA control panel with no such luck. I am at an absolute loss. Can't even play some of the games that I have because of the issue. I downloaded and ran Heaven Benchmark on ultra setting and was getting around 120 FPS with some dips into the 90's but its a pretty intense benchmark on ultra. Watching my GPU and CPU during the benchmark that i ran for a while, neither got too hot. I did see the GPU go to 97% usage which i havent seen in any of the other games. I dont believe my cpu went to very high usage. Update to an update: My RAM wasnt running at its oc rate of 3200 and ive had issues getting it to OC. After i reinstalled windows, i just tried it again and it is now clocked to 3200 with no issues. Here is an updated benchmark. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/18112575 As far as i know though, im still not getting the desired frames that i should be.
  5. It seems lately that my PC is just not keeping up to par like it was when i first got it. It's a little over a year old and its been moved around a few times from moving and everything and now really recently, i havent been getting the frames i should in games. I play R6S and GTA V a lot and siege i average around 100-140 ( not bad but i used to get a lot more and i play on a 144 hz monitor) and GTA V im currently getting around 40ish. AWFUL. I used to get MUCH more than that. I did i complete reset of my pc including a fresh windows 10, up to date gpu driver, up to date bios, just about everything. Idk what is going on and it doesnt appear that either my CPU or GPU is overheating. If anything, they arent even getting full usage during my gaming sessions and im not sure why either. Here is my BenchMark. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/18088652 Odd thing is that during the benchmarks, i get above 250 frames easily and other benchmarks the same. So im not sure at all what is going on. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
