  1. is it normal that my 3700x is at 1.48v idle and 1.2v load. is 1.48 unhealthy for the cpu? idle temps are at around 50c. b450 gaming pro carbon motherboard
  2. I was going to get the b450 tomahawk or the msi gaming pro carbon to use with the 3700x. People said it would work fine but would a cheap X570 be better? For example Asus prime X570 p or gigabyte X570 gaming x, mis X570 a pro.
  3. so would the msi b450 tomahawk be good enough for the ryzen 7 3700x without any problems
  4. would ryzen 7 3700x with b450 tomahawk be too risky? i have a budget of around $450 but am i skimping too much on the motherboard? any budget motherboard recommendations for ryzen 3700x. or should i just get 3600/ 3600x with a better mobo? thanks
  5. please bear with me as i am somewhat new to pcs. i currently have an intel system. I want to upgrade to one of the new ryzen cpus that will be released. i am wondering if there is a way i could change to an am4 motherboard and ryzen cpu without reinstalling windows or losing my data. i have read some things about deleting old drivers and things like that. I was hoping someone could give me some specifics and advice on how i could transfer from intel to amd as smooth as possible.
  6. no i haven't tried proxies but i am sure that will help. it is footage from canon sl2 h.264 and i think 60 mbps. its from samsung 860 evo ssd. would a upgrade to ryzen 5 3600, upgrade to 32 gb ram be enough to have premiere and ae run smoothly?
  7. i have the old i5 6500 currently, gtx 1060, 8 gb ram. editing in premiere and after effects is horrible and playback is barely possible. i am thinking of upgrading to ryzen 5 3600 when that comes out and upgrading to 16 gb ram. sometimes i have premiere and ae running at the same time so im not sure if 16 would be enough. would that be enough for smooth 1080p editing in premiere and ae? also any recommendations on motherboards for zen 2 and ram which are budget friendly.
