  1. According to Amd their Infinity fabric shows some of the best performance at the 3733 speeds without changing the ratio. While I think its real world difference will be minimal at best. My goal is to set up the best preforming 3800x I can get.
  2. Ryzen 3000, I will start by saying me being excited about the new 3800x is an understatement. On to the real question. In terms of how ram works, if your goal is run at 3733mhz speeds with as tight of timings as you can get. Does it make any theoretical sense to buy a 3800 or 4000 speed kit and only run it at 3733. Would doing so allow your ram to have better timings then a normally packaged kit sold at 3733 advertised speeds? As for logical reasoning's I have none. Its like the Camaro you just got, I want to make it as fast as possible just because I can.
