  1. I settled on buying Viewsonic VX3276-2K-MHD 32". Thanks everyone for their answers
  2. Will an RX580 manage to run a 1440p 144hz monitor?
  3. Hello everyone! Hope everyone is staying safe. I'm thinking of upgrading my 23.8" 1080p monitor to a 27" 4K monitor. I have a 9900K and an RX 580 4 GB running. Would I run into any problems for regular use? I don't game much except LoL, Valorant and CS:GO, I don't need "maximum" gaming power. I can even play on 1440p in these games I think. Will this setup be enough to run a 4K monitor? Thanks!
  4. Yeah I'm probably going to end up doing that but I do not want to have the extra hassle of re-routing the files in my old projects to their new locations. Thanks for your answer!
  5. No no I'm going to buy a new SATA HDD
  6. So, I am currently using a WD Elements 4 TB External Drive. I plan to switch that to a SATA drive as it feels inefficient, now that I have a desktop setup. However, I don’t want to buy a 4TB SSD as it is a bit expensive. But I have a lot of stuff currently routed to G: Elements. Is it possible to buy an SSD and an HDD, put both under the directory G: Elements, and be able to choose which drive I’m copying the files to? I don’t think striped volume let’s me choose.
  7. Btw the computer boots and works fine, but when I start prime95 it instantly crashes
  8. 1.4v is what the mobo gives me when i set it the v-core on auto. I’m gonna try the avx offset mentioned above and i’ll let you know
  9. Hello! I use a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro motherboard and have been trying to get an all-core 5 GHz OC with my i9 9900K. However, the chip doesn’t go stable without anything below 1.4V. Did I lose the lottery horribly lol? I tried it with C-states both on off, disabled and enabled xmp, tried auto v-core and all sorts of stuff but can’t get it stable below 1.4V, which causes the chip to throttle. my entire setup: - Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 memory on dual channel, - bequiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 - i9 9900k - Z390 Aorus Pro - Corsair RM750x - Corsair Carbide 270R with 2 140mm Noctua top exhaust, 1 120mm Noctua back exhaust and 2 140mm Noctua front intake - AMD Radeon RX580 4GB
  10. I made that number up sorry lol. You can see my specs here:
  11. If I remember correctly the core voltage is around 1.32V but I might be wrong I'll check ASAP. HW Monitor shows the package and most of the cores hit 100C and in AIDA64 I can see it throttles between 5%-12%
