Okay so I'm planning to buy the Asus Prime x470-Pro which, as far as I know, only has two 4 pin RGB headers and no 3 pin. I plan on also purchasing 2 3-packs of the Thermaltake Riing Trio fans, which as far as I know too, aren't Aura Sync compatible. I believe picking up the Thermaltake sync controller does make them compatible with Aura sync, but unfortunately only for motherboards with 5v 3-pin headers, which the motherboard I want doesn't have.
Now I know Deepcool makes a 4pin/12v to 5v converter here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07QPYSC82/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=A1TG24VCRPTZ06&psc=1
But my question is, is it possible to connect the Deepcool converter to the 4pin rgb header on my mobo, then the Thermaltake sync controller(s) to the converter, and finally the fans to the sync controller(s) without screwing anything up? The goal is to be able to control the 6 Riing Trios with aura.
Thanks
