  1. Yeah, I should have prepared better for it. The price difference is about $40 per 16gb kit. I think I'd rather just bite the bullet and get the better speed for ease of mind. It shouldn't be hard to return the kit I bought, it's unopened and in the original shipping box anyway. But I'll wait for release and tests as people here have mentioned. Thanks for the insight.
  2. Looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 3000 cpu, probably 3700x but might jump to 3900x. Anyway, I went ahead and purchased some 3200MHz Corsair RAM under the impression that was a decent speed for Ryzen, only to find out the new sweet spot for the 3000 series is 3600MHz or preferably 3733MHz. My question is, how important is it to have 3600MHz for the Ryzen 3000 series? I'm trying to save money where I can, but should I return the 3200MHz sticks and upgrade to the higher speed? I'll mostly be playing games (like GTA V, etc) and using AutoCAD for architectural projects.
  3. Unfortunately, it appears this one doesn't. I've looked at photos and the manual and I can't see any 3 pin, just 2 4 pin
  4. Okay so I'm planning to buy the Asus Prime x470-Pro which, as far as I know, only has two 4 pin RGB headers and no 3 pin. I plan on also purchasing 2 3-packs of the Thermaltake Riing Trio fans, which as far as I know too, aren't Aura Sync compatible. I believe picking up the Thermaltake sync controller does make them compatible with Aura sync, but unfortunately only for motherboards with 5v 3-pin headers, which the motherboard I want doesn't have. Now I know Deepcool makes a 4pin/12v to 5v converter here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07QPYSC82/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=A1TG24VCRPTZ06&psc=1 But my question is, is it possible to connect the Deepcool converter to the 4pin rgb header on my mobo, then the Thermaltake sync controller(s) to the converter, and finally the fans to the sync controller(s) without screwing anything up? The goal is to be able to control the 6 Riing Trios with aura. Thanks
