  1. I bought a binned 3950x from silicon lottery. I think I was running at 1.325V but I'd have to check to find out.
  2. I think it actually did end up working, thank you. I will update this thread if that changes
  3. I figured it out, and this didn't work. Any other ideas?
  4. I'm pretty dumb when it comes to anything more advanced than changing values, how do I clear Cmos? I have an Aorus x570 Xtreme if that means anything
  5. I originally did it in bios, but I was thinking that an all core 4.15 might be worse than some cores at like 4.8, so I tried using ryzen master because I wasn't sure how to change a few cores but not all of them in Bios. I am going to try and revert to an old backup I have, and if that doesn't fix it IDK what to do.
  6. Hello! Recently I have been having some trouble overclocking my 3950x. I origionally had a stable 4.15ghz all core overclock, but was wondering if I could get more FPS while gaming, if I was to use something like precision boost overdrive. Once I tried to tweak some things in Ryzen Master, I have had some trouble returning to my old settings. The BLK seems to not want to go back to 100.00 and I am at a loss for what to do. Preferably, I'd like to hop in a discord call with someone knowledgeable about the topic, but all tips and tricks / help are appreciated! Thanks in advance.
  7. Hey guys, I have posted this on other places such as reddit and gotten a response of "lol don't ask me", so I'm looking for actual helpful answers and I hope you guys can understand. Recently my PC has been completely turning off seeming at random. My hardware doesn't seem to have any issues, and everything in my system has reasonable temps and nothing seems to be wrong with function and when using it day to day. I've been running an auto-overclock on both my graphics card and my cpu. I have my 9900k running at 4.97 Ghz, and my 2080ti running the "curve" setting in afterburner with a +601 clock on the memory. I checked all of the wire connections to my motherboard, and they are all plugged in. The only 2 issues that I can think of, is that my 1000 watt power supply might be not enough power (which wouldn't make sense) or that I went for a too agressive overclock. I tried removing the memory clock on my GPU, but haven't had enough time to test this. Are there any other reasons that my PC might not be working? I'm thankful for all replies :)
