  1. Appreciate the reply. Ill keep it off since i really dont need it.
  2. To add, I have no use for the 4k since I mainly play fps games but it would be cool to watch something on it from time to time.
  3. Hi friends, I've bought this monitor a while back and honestly, for its price, its really good. Been running it at 1080p at 144hz without any issues. However, when i went to my nvidia control pannel, I found that u could actually put the rez to 4k 3840x2160. I tried it and it works but is it safe to leave it at 4k for a long time? Im somewhat good with tech but I never thought I could run the monitor at 4k 60HZ(capped at 60HZ once on 4k). A bit of a weird one ikn but my curiosity got the best of me.
  4. Well PSU will be my main prio. But thank you guys.I feel so dumb actually..
  5. Holy crap i feel like a dumbass right now. This actually proves that i do not know anything about PSU's and that i should stay away from them as far as i can.So i decided to open up my pc and to check the model number. And after a quick search online it showed a 280W PSU.Here is a picture so if anyone can prove that it is thanks. After acknowledging my mistake and realising that it is a 280W PSU(After someone double checks) Is there a chance that the system can run normaly for a couple of months till i get some money to buy a good PSU or is 280W still not enough. P.S Yes i know i am a dumbass.I never rly looked into PSU's even tho i know a decent amount about other parts the PSU area is blank.I just know their wattages(I thought i knew it till now)
  6. Btw idk what the hell this means but it is a 240W 85plus PSU have no idea what that stands for..
  7. Any recommendations?
  8. And also thank you everyone.By far the best info i got i knew people that folow ltt know things.
  9. Update. On apex the gpu uses above 90% while the cpu didnt show usage it did show 30W of power. Also the temps for the gpu is max 61 and the cpu is also near that mark. Also i need info on PSU upgrades since i never did buy them.Don't have that much money right now but i'll change it in the next couple of weeks just so i dont risk parts getting damaged. And i'll stay away from gaming too much esp apex.
  10. So before i buy can i still run games like league that dont use that much % usage on both cpu and gpu or is that not safe as well
  11. I'm not familiar with PSU's is there a difference in buying a 300-400W psu for like 20-30$ or just going with a expensive one.
  12. It is a zotac gtx 1050 ti it does not have an extra connector it uses the mb power.
  13. So i recently bought a pc.It is a lenovo m72e tower. It has an i5-3470 ,8gbs of ddr3 and i chucked in a zotac gtx 1050 ti. The problem is that i found out it had a 240W PSU.I'm scared that it is going to die and that it will take the other parts with it to its grave.I just bought this pc and i dont would not like that to happen. So if i play Apex legends and league of legends.Keeping in mind that playing league takes less than 30% gpu usage and a little above 50% of cpu usage.Apex i havent tested. Will the PSU die and how long do i have till something goes up in flames.
