  1. just replaced the cmos battery with a new one i was able to boot back to bios , set overclock and boot and to windows and now downloading cyberpunk2077 thankyou ShrimpBrime for the solution
  2. just took the bios battery off and measured with a multi meter borrowed from my neighbour im only getting 0.45 volt on the reading , im assuming the the correct voltage should be 3 can i replace the bios battery with a duracell variant which is size CS2032 ?

Computer would not boot to bios or windows after turning off computer after powering on the computer i can see that the graphics card is receiving power but my monitor stay on stand by receives no signal , i replaced the displayport cable and used an hdmi but stil no signal the monitor works since i was able to connect a nintendo switch through the hdmi cable im getting a Qcode 79 on the code panel after looking at the motherboard manual qcode 79 is CSM initialisation i have re installed the ram and and the cpu re installed the gpu but still no signal computer specs: 5930k oc to 4.5Ghz noctua nhd15 cooler strix 1080 16 gab dominator platinum ram 2666 mhz ASUs rampage 5 extreme Samsung 850 pro 512gb ssd boot drive wd black 2tb hardrive games drive just want to play cyberpunk 2077 requested this week as a holiday to play the game Any help or suggestion would be appreciated thanks
  4. I do plan on upgrading to a higher resolution monitor in the near future to 1440p So rtx2060 is a better choice for my future upgrade ?
  5. A few days ago my 980ti decided to die and I am looking for a GPU replacement I play my games @ 1080p resolution at 60 hz Medium / High on graphics presets I have a budget of around £400 which narrows my choice to RTX 2060 £320-£360 GTX 1660ti =£300 Feedback would be appreciated

Sadly no after removing and checking the cpu for debris or damage moving the memory around , and only using one stick at each possible slot Reflashing the bios again using ez flash method I’m still getting the code b2 regarding the graphics card the 2 led located on top of the pcie power connector lights up white indicating connector is connected properly and power is being delivered , the three fans spins when I turn the switch on the pc The only thing I can do is send the pc to a repair shop to troubleshoot on Monday Hopefully it’s a minor problem Anyway thanks for the troubleshooting suggestions

I updated the bios to the latest at around February 2018 the last and latest bios was released on 2017 bios Rev 3701which I installed using bios flash back the pc running fine with the bios the only major update I can think of is windows 10 updated to the current version as well as updating the Nvidia drivers pc was running smoothly until it crashed while playing citra then black screen > code b2 on motherboard / no signal coming from hdmi
  8. I have cleared the cmos as altron978 suggested but still getting the code b2 when I turned on the computer the vga led is lit and I’m not getting any signal from my graphics card when I plugged it it a monitor through hdmi

The computer crashed while playing ”citra” 3ds emulation software the screen went black and the pc goes through a circle of rebooting but nothing is appearing on the screen therefore I turn the pc off.
