  1. Thanks @Crunchy Dragon interesting video.
  2. @Quadriplegic depends on the game. I’ve been told it’s my cpu. But I’ll get massive FPS swings ranging from 30-50 FPS drops on Witcher 3 or div2. Yes for I try to tune every game. I just would have expected this rig to run 1440p more stable I guess.
  3. I think my issue that I see and have a problem with is I came from xb1x . While the monitor I have is an OK 1440p I still see a massive FPS drop in most AAA games. Which honestly I would expect not to be seeing it at all for my system. Yes I try to run ultra and back down the settings depending on the game to gain performance.
  4. Fire strike extreme I think is what you would need to run. It simulates 4K amd it’s what I ran and was very underwhelms at my 5500 score.
  5. I’ve this setup now since Jan. While I enjoy it, I would have thought I would be running games higher FPS on ultra and more stable. Is my cpu my main bottleneck? Should I overclock it? or upgrade to the new ryzen series? It sucks cause now I have extra money that if I did when I built this I would have went a different way. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Suspect3d/saved/QGPq4D
  6. Have you ran a benchmark on like 3D mark by chance?
  7. Honestly I’m shocked you’re able do 4K even hovering around the 30fps. Kind of impressed with your setup, my cpu is my bottle neck and I struggle to hit 100fps on ultra on demanding games.
  8. So Derrk, any suggestions? It seems like I can’t find a nice 1440p with that hit all boxes. Like color gamut and 10bit seems like I’m limited to 60hz if I got to 154hz the the gamut and bit and rgb is lower. Or the ms time is high.
  9. Hopefully I can get some good help here. I’m a beginner photographer and casual dad gamer. However my old 1080p monitor is not fitting my current needs for Editing and gaming and my system. However I don’t know what would fit me better. i enjoy rpgs and some racing games. Div 2, Witcher 3 diablo FH4 etc. So I’m trying to figure out if an IPS 1440p or 4K monitor would be better. It seems like either way have to sacrifice something. IPS 1440p, seems I’ll either lose the coloring I want for editing or having a higher frequency. 4k I’ll get the editing I want but lose the FPS for gaming. Many suggestions would be really appreciated. I would want 27in or bigger. setup is Ryzen 2600x RTX 2070 16GB 300hz ram
