Both the Asus and Nitro have very bad thermals and throttle as well. I'd personally get the G3, it has better thermals and you can always undervolt and repaste to boost its performance but as far as I've seen undervolting the Asus or the Nitro doesn't really give any benefits.

Flashing using CMD usually requires the name of the device which is usually some numbers and letters put together. I had this issue too until I found out the name for my device and tried flashing using the device name. Worth and check.

Couldn't care about RGB. If it brings the price down I wouldn't mind if the laptop looked like a rock. I willl be carrying it back and forth though so I would prefer a light weight laptop.

I was thinking about it, too. But I couldn't find any reviews on the fx505Dd at all. So, things like thermals and actual performance are still questionable. The Acer Nitro 5 looks amazing on paper but it suffers from bad thermals.

Hi, guys. This is Reppin. I'm looking for a good laptop to do some coding and light gaming. I won't be doing any intense gaming, just CS:GO and games like AC Origins and maybe Witcher 3. I definitely need atleast a terabyte of storage and around 3-4 hours of battery will be enough as I mostly only game plugged in.
