  1. I did order and receive a 24 to 8 pin adapter. It works fine. The computer posts and starts up. I've got Windows 10 installed. I just need to sort out the power supply so I can use my graphics card.
  2. Hi All, I've been given a free Dell Inspiron 3670. It's got an i5-8400 and 12GB of DDR4 2666 RAM. I will be using it for gaming. It still shows up on Dell's website. Here's the link: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-desktop-computers/inspiron-desktop-computer/spd/inspiron-3670-desktop It's missing a power supply but that's fine because I've installed the MSI GTX 1060 AERO ITX 6G OC that I had in my old Optiplex 990 with an i5-2400. The missing PSU would not have been able to power the GPU due to lack of power connections and too low wattage. I tried to use the Corsair CX550 I had in my Optiplex but because of the mounting screw locations when it's installed the PSU vent is against the bottom pan of the case and it's not vented. The PSU in the Optiplex was at the top of the case so it vented down into the open case. The Inspiron PSU mounts on the bottom of the case but the venting is down and the air has no where to go. I've also decided the CX550's non-modular wires take up way too much space in case. I am going to purchase a new fully modular PSU so I can limit the amount of space the wiring will occupy. There was plenty of space in the Optiplex but this Inspiron is a lot smaller. Soooo....Am I going to need to cut/drill my own vent in the bottom of the case? Is there a PSU out there that would vent "up"? I've been looking and can't find a PSU with mounting screws that are "inverted" so it vents into the case. The OEM PSU vents out the back. Are there any quality aftermarket power supplies that also vent out the back? Any suggestions? Please advise. Thank you!
  3. Is there a best Bluetooth PC dongle for wireless "in-ear" head phones? I don't have them but I want to use a product like the Apple AirPods with my PC. I understand that lag is an issue in this type of product and I'd like to avoid that as much as possible. When listening to music lag is fine but audio lag while watching video is not enjoyable. So far I've found the Avantree Leaf is being reported as the product I’m looking for but I’d rather have unbiased opinions. Thanks!
