  1. Budget (including currency): £400-£450 Country: United Kingdom Other details: I already have a GPU from an old build that I will be using (Palit JetStream GTX 1080). Looking to get the most for my money so I'm not looking for an unnecessary expenses such as fans or CPU coolers etc and Ideally MicroATX.
  2. I've tried pulling the CMOS out. Honestly the port was a complete mess I really shouldn't have even been using it.
  3. I was using my PC as normal & plugged a device into one of the front USB ports on my case. I had been having issues with this USB port as every so often when I would plug something into it I would get a power surge error notification, most of the time it would work as normal how ever last time I tried using it my PC froze and had been dead ever since (well not completely). This has led me to believe that it has fried some components, the PC boosts up however does not post, fans spin and the light on the side of the GPU turns on but no devices connected to the PC such as keyboard or mouse are getting power, the power button light has also gone out on the case however it is still functional. Ive tried a partial rebuild and leaving it for awhile but i've not had any success. Has anyone got anything else I can try before I start a new build?
  4. Never heard of English dollars in my life lol, I think you mean the Pound Sterling (GBP) its in the title. The HTC Desire 10 Pro looks decent only issue I can see with it is that its getting a bit old at this point as its almost 3 years old.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion I am currently looking at the Huawei Honor 9 Lite.
  6. So as the title says. I am looking for the best phone possible as im due for an upgrade as im running a 3 year old phone.
  7. I have just built my friends new PC tonight but for some reason it keeps cashing without an error code, it has also blue screened once with the error code CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. The only thing I think off that could be causing the crashes could be driver related or power cables not connected properly which I will be checking tomorrow. But as for the blue screen I am unsure of what could be causing that to happen. PC Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Motherboard: Asus PRIME B350M-A RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz GPU: Gainward GTX 770 PSU: Corsair CX550M (2015 version) HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM Any common issues that I could be over looking here? Any help is appreciated thanks.
  8. Hey guys I am currently looking for suggestions for a £400 gaming build for a friend. I will be giving him my GTX 770 for £70 please keep this in mind. Thanks for any help.
  9. I am not one of those guys that upgrade every gen, that's expensive and such a waste of money in my opinion. I am still running a 770 and its starting to show its age. Just looking for a card that will last me another 3-4 years. I may as well wait if Nvidia has GPUs coming out soon but since I haven't been following tech for a good few months I have no clue if they are expected anytime soon.
  10. Im not really interested in AMD as I like to use some of the geforce experience features.
  11. I have been thinking about getting a new GPU recently something a long the lines of a 1070 or 1080 if I can find one cheap. Do you think at this current moment it is worth buying one or should I wait for the new Nvidia cards to come out and if so how long should I be expecting to wait.
  12. How long do you guys think my i7 4790k will be able to stay relevant and be able to keep up with the latest games 2-3 years or even longer?
