This is the first time i came to amd. I am not sure i will stay once intel releases its pcie4 and ddr5. I dont plan on upgrading to 5600x or non x variant which might release at some point either as in 10months RAMs mobos and am4 socket altogether will be obsolete. Amd is looking lot shaddy these too. They are pushing ryzen 5000+mobo 500 series for smt coupled with their gpus while, Mobo companies are saying SMT can be done on any ryzen chip even 1st gen. And High markups on 6000 series GPUs. Ya many argue that even nvidias card are being scalped. But if 700$ card is being scalped to 1000-1300$ what will happen to 800$ card be as 6800Xt reference is no more and all AiB have a 150$ markup minimum. 1500$?. I am new to this PC building i use to have a gaming laptop with intel and 950m back then i went through PCMR and all, and decided to do PC build. i was satisfied with 1080ti previously and then jensen showed up, CDPR showed up and "RT on" felt so important. Just to realise my 3080 setup cant put 50FPS constant on 4k. My never ending questions was should CPU impact be negligible on higher resolution. Any tech youtuber 101 says the same. Higher resolution no CPU bottleneck. 4k is highest resolution right????. It is so depressing I just have 10 more days and then my college starts and cant spend more time on this game.

That did nothing to my FPS drops. I just downloaded that zip and put it in my x64 location, no improment. Am I supossed to do anything other than that??????

No matter What setting I use lowered Crowd density to medium I hit 37FPS in this street, be it 4k, 1440p, 1080p, I am on R5 3600 and RTX 3080. I have also tried disabling RT, Dlss all modes and all permutations still I am hitting low FPS. like 35.

I tried, 4k 1440p 1080p every resolution its on 1.05 patch. I even lowered crow density to medium. Some one please help. Even lowered the settings low, and disabled RT, ultra performance DLSS. I am even hitting 35 to 32FPS aswell.

Hello all, I have this 3600 placed on my Asus x570-E, There is always discripency in temperatures. Can you please look into it. Ryzen master says 70, While Aida says 60. Hope someone lets me know whats the issue.

Hi, I have tried every permuation and comination RT on RT off, DLSS all modes, even reduces resolution. No matter what I do. I hit 37FPS in crowded street beind V's appartment, when I sprint into people. I don't want to change my CPU cuz upgrading to 5600x will make me upgrade all my stuff next year RAMs Mobo and CPU all. As AMD is annoucing new DIE, and new DDR5. Whatever permuation I try I dont get consistant frames. I just want a stable 50-55FPS at 4k, as I feel 1440p is CPU bottleneck. My Rams are 16GB 2x8 at 3600Mhz CL17. I feel so sad now. that even with a rare card like 3080, I am not able to play CP77. Should CPU bottleneck be negligible at 4K? Why am I hitting rock bottoms I tried Hexcode mode as well. I could not find that "75 xxxxxxx" string on hexcode editior installed on my PC, so had to upload it online hexeditor which found it for me and I did edit it. It solved some areas but the area behind Vs apparment with small street shops and Clubs is still hitting 37FPS. (at all settings, 1080p RT off(low, medium, ultra)(DLSS all levels), RT on all settings of DLSS) every fking combination. Any help? Any fix. Whether I am doing anything wrong? I just went in with hype of Ryzen and bought this CPU. I see people with 7700k and even 9400F and 10400F getting more frames than me. I feel so sad now.

I liked the game and all i play at 4k. Use r5 3600 n rtx 3080. Strangely at some locations where crowd is very high near v's appartment. No matter what i do resolution reduced from 4k to 1080p. Rt on to off. Dlss quality to ultra performance. Settings ultra to low. No matter what i do the fps is dropping to 37. Its kinda worrying as i have spent all my savings on monitor. And buying a 5600x doesnot make sense to me when next year DDR5 arrives. I have done that hexcode mod aswell. And i don't understand when 8600k, or a 7700k is performing well why is 3600 not performing, single core of 3600 should be better right it released after 9th gen intel. I am loving the game just expecting 60fps consistent at 1440p or 45-55FPS at 4k

More precise answer would have been great. Something like fan curve settings. Oddly i am not sure if the card is defective or is fine or some messed up settings. As 3080 Fe are rare to be found

Hi all, I snagged a 3080 FE in Oct. I have not played much on this except for YG, which had crashes with vulkan. Whilst my GTA V never crashed. Leaving YG aside I wanted to play Quake 2 RTX. So I installed it and started playing. The fans speeds were low 900-1100RPM initially . 1)And as soon as I enter next room and move to the water between two walls the Fans speeds ramp up to 3700RPM (strangely my temps are just 68-71C still fans rotate at high speeds). 2) Once RPM raises in game the RPM does not go down until the game is closed or window is switched. I used the GPU Tweak 2 of Asus and set the profile to Silent still the fans ramped up to 3700RPM. Is this normal. What should be done if not. Attaching Screenshots of the game stats. Please help.

Ok I can sacrifice angles. But my main concern is does samsung VA q dot monitor give 125% srgb like atleast an ips monitor with 110% srgb or just washed out colors like just another other VA panel. I do know q dot is for black stabilization. I am only interested in colors. Not so concerned about angles as well. But can't go as low as a TN. I earlier used this AOC monitor with 72% NTSC and ny experience was bad..later moved to G241 optix by MSI with 125% srgb and I had good experience until my monitor started to see wierd lines in just two months and many have reported the same issue. Moreover MSI is behaving shaddy here in India. They are refunding only price which distributor gets it at, rather than what I have bought it for. How come an end user buy a monitor for distributor price? The difference is almost 70-80 dollors.

I am from india and in my budget I only have these two options to buy. And we don't have luxury of visiting store to compare both monitors and buy one. I have option of getting this Samsung monitor with 125 srgb CFG73 or Acer VG240YP with 100 srgb. I used MSI Optix G241 ips with 125 srgb. I would like to have good color reproduction. Will the VA panel of samsung (quantum dot) be the same as normal VA panel? Do the colors look washed out as any other VA panel? Will this samsung Va qdot panel with 125% srgb be as good as Ips with 110% srgb or so? If yes i would like to choose this samsung va panel. Your help would be appreciated. Is VA q dot 125% srgb better looking than 100% srgb IPS.? I am not so concerned about response times even 6ms or 8 ms is fine for me.
