my ram is being detected where is xmp profile at in bios

Hello, I recently purchased a new ram, it is a vengance 2x8 gb ram for 120 dollars. I have put in the ram and every time i do it boots, turns of and then leave me at the automatic repair screen I have looked through bios to try and fix the problem i have a gigabyte bios and i don't know how do disable what to do i cant wipe my pc through cmd im very stuck please help
