  1. @AbydosOne Yes. Edge, Firefox, and Chrome, they all appear to behave in the same way on my desktop. However, I have tried to browse google.com on my Laptop, it works like normal.
  2. It is possible I know but it is very less likely. And if google blocked the ip, I believe it wouldn't just affect my desktop only.
  3. I've recently encounter an odd problem Non of my browser is responding to google.com, However google with other domain works, such as google.com.au, google.co.jp, google.com.sg, translate.google.com etc is working fine. Things that I have tried: 1. Checked HOSTS file, same as default 2. No virus detected after a full scan with windows defender 3. Tried both 1. DNS and Google DNS This issue only appear to be on my desktop only, other devices have no problem. Anyone has a clue what's happening? Really need a proper method to diagnose and fix this issue.
  4. I thought it must be the HOSTS file at first too, but it appear to be exactly the same as default HOSTS file should be. And yes, I couldn't browse Google.com with Edge too. It's a pain that I have to enter google.com.au first before searching with chrome ? Thanks for the info. I will try my luck there. ?
  5. Yes I have tried both google and 1. DNS server, nothing seems to be working.
  6. New to this forum. Go easy on me :)

  7. Hello everyone, new to linustechtips here, I've been following the Youtube channel but finally decided to join the forum. I recently encounter an odd problem, but not knowing which category can I post my question in, I'll drop it here, hope that someone can enlighten me, or lead me to the correct subforum so I can ask it there. The problem is rather straight forward- Non of my browser is responding to google.com, However google with other domain works, such as google.com.au, google.co.jp, google.com.sg, translate.google.com etc is working fine. I have checked my host file, nothing was there. I have done a full virus scan with windows defender, as well as set default on DNS server nothing seems to fix this issue. This issue only appear to be on my desktop, other devices seems normal. Anyone has a clue what's happening? Really need a proper method to diagnose and fix this issue. Edit: I have moved and continue the question at
