  1. I just used DDU and installed the latest driver, I thought there could have been an issue when it was installing. But I can use DDU and go back to an older driver. I was on version 497.29 for around a month and only started having problems around January 30th. Then I downloaded the latest driver and it still was happening, after that I used DDU. I'm guessing I should download 496.76. Also I didn't know that about the overlay I had activated it recently. Although even after DDU removed Geforce the problem still was happening so ig that wasn't the issue.
  2. I have uninstalled afterburner and used DDU to uninstall my drivers. Should I try this again? This problem was also happening on the latest NVIDIA drivers and the last version. I can't tell if its hardware or a software issue. I have went over my system multiple times and made sure everything is fully plugged in. The only thing I could think of if it is hardware is the cable extensions.
  3. I was using a custom fan curve during this, I can show the fan curve if you would like. I also set the fans to 100% and the problem still consisted. My GPU has hit 95c and still the fans turn off and on every few seconds like in the graph.
  4. For about a week my GPU fans have been spinning normally then dropping to 0 every few seconds. I'm not sure whats causing this because I cant seem to recreate the problem all the time, I will think I have the problem fixed then later that day or the next day it will begin happening again. I have take the GPU out taken it apart and cleaned it, looked over my whole PC and made sure the connections were secure, re-installed the RAM, Used DDU to wipe my drivers and reinstall new ones, and I uninstalled afterburner thinking it may have had a problem (don't believe it's the problem). Also when I have taken the GPU out sometimes and re-installed it the fans wont spin at all, so I unplug and re-pluggin the GPU cables and then it begins to work (even though the cables were definitely fully plugged in). I think it might be the cable extensions, However, I'm not really sure if that could be causing it to be so inconsistent with it sometimes working fine, doing the weird dropping to zero thing in the graph below, and sometimes not working at all. In the graph the I set the fans to 100% near the end and problem continues. https://imgur.com/adzAMKw I cant seem to recreate the problem so even right now I dont know if its going to happen again or not.
  5. I've noticed when I boot my computer sometimes on the bottom of the screen there are horizontal lines that begin to move up. This problem only happens for a few seconds then they go away and I have no problem using my computer after. I have noticed that the problem only seems to occur when I turn on my second monitor/TV, I can still move my mouse when this happens.
